TRADIMENTO • JUNE 9: “SHE IS NOT MY GRANDDAUGHTER!” OLTAN FREEZES EVERYONE WITH A SHOCKING STATEMENT

Get ready for an episode of “Tradimento” that will leave you stunned! This Monday, June 9th, prepare for emotional highs and devastating lows as secrets unravel and new challenges arise for your favorite characters.

The episode kicks off with Seline and Tolga on the brink of a life-changing moment: meeting the child they hope to adopt. In the director’s office at the adoption institute, Seline is a bundle of nerves, trembling with anticipation and fear about becoming a good mother. Tolga, though equally anxious, offers silent reassurance. The air is thick with emotion as a woman enters, cradling a baby. The moment Seline sees the infant, tears well up. She cradles the baby, holding her as if touching a dream, utterly captivated. Tolga is equally moved, his face alight with emotion as he embraces and kisses the child. The room fills with a new warmth, confirming the director’s belief that she’s found the perfect parents for the baby. This sweet scene paints a picture of pure, unadulterated joy as the couple embarks on their journey into parenthood.

Meanwhile, in another part of the city, Ozan meets with Caraman to discuss his hospital project. Ozan anticipates objections, but Caraman surprises him by entrusting him with full autonomy and confidence in his work. This gesture deeply moves Ozan, who feels he truly deserves this responsibility. Their handshake seals a moment of mutual respect. Just then, Oilum enters with a sleeping Gian in a stroller. Caraman’s face lights up with surprise and happiness, a genuine smile spreading across his face. Ozan is equally delighted to see his sister and immediately looks for his nephew. Oilum hands Caraman a box of his favorite sweets and congratulates Ozan, sharing a warm embrace that speaks volumes of their sincere affection. The atmosphere is light and familial, the tension seemingly gone, replaced by a deep sense of belonging.

As Seline and Tolga drive home, Seline, still cradling the baby, can’t stop smiling, already deeply in love with her new daughter. Tolga, ever cautious, reminds her to hold the baby securely, worried about every bump in the road. Seline realizes they forgot to buy diaper rash cream, but Tolga calmly assures her, reminding them to prioritize the baby’s well-being, and their own. He suggests hiring a nanny, but Seline firmly rejects the idea, unwilling to entrust their precious child to anyone else. Tolga understands and doesn’t push the issue. Their immediate goal is to introduce the baby to her grandfather, Oltan.

The tension ratchets up when Oilum finds herself face-to-face with Tolga and Seline in the hotel lobby. Oilum, who was just pondering the idea of calling Caraman “Dad,” is taken aback when the elevator doors open to reveal Tolga holding a baby. Their exchange is brief and awkward, filled with unspoken tension. Seline explains that the baby is their daughter, confirming it’s an adoption. Oilum, maintaining a detached demeanor, wishes them well and quickly departs, leaving behind an palpable sense of unease.

The real shocker, however, comes when Tolga and Seline present the baby to Oltan. He is utterly bewildered, his face a mask of astonishment and disorientation. Tolga, trying to break the silence, asks if they can enter. Oltan, still speechless, slowly steps aside. Tolga firmly informs his father that he and Seline are now officially the baby’s parents. Seline gently explains that they are currently foster parents and are still completing the formal adoption process. Tolga then places the baby into Oltan’s arms. Oltan stiffens, then cautiously accepts her. Tolga explicitly states that this is his grandfather.

The silence is thick, but then something shifts. Oltan relaxes, his gaze softens, and he holds the baby tenderly. Seline, seizing the moment, asks if he’s happy. Oltan honestly admits he needs time to process everything, having just learned he’s a grandfather, but confirms that he will be happy. The baby’s spontaneous smile melts his remaining resistance, overwhelming Seline with emotion. Tolga lovingly reminds her that he predicted his father would be surprised but ultimately joyful. Yet, despite the apparent serenity, a deep disquiet lingers in Oltan’s eyes as he watches Seline and Tolga together, a troubling thought overshadowing the moment’s happiness.

Meanwhile, Jessim and Umit arrive at the elegant residence of Mrs. Semi to present a catering proposal for her husband’s birthday. Umit is visibly nervous, but Jessim firmly takes charge, dismissing the maid before she can bring drinks. Mrs. Semi, with a composed and cold demeanor, immediately makes it clear that she desires a sober, elegant, and private affair. She critically reviews Jessim’s menu, her sophisticated palate, refined by global culinary experiences, unimpressed. Umit’s bold suggestion of fried Siberian venison is met with immediate rejection. Mrs. Semi hands back the proposal and informs them that her assistant will contact them if she decides to accept their offer, then swiftly departs. Jessim, maintaining professionalism, thanks her politely. Outside, Umit is despondent, feeling responsible for the failed meeting, but Jessim admits she’s relieved, sensing Mrs. Semi’s excessive rigidity.

Back at Tolga and Seline’s home, Sara is excitedly preparing for the baby’s arrival, adorning the living room with pink and white balloons and a “Welcome” sign. When Tolga and Seline enter with the baby, Sara rushes to embrace them, her eyes immediately drawn to the sleeping infant. Tolga is completely captivated by his daughter, unable to look away. Seline proposes taking the baby to her room to change her, only to realize they forgot an essential item: diaper rash cream. Tolga heads out to buy it, leaving Seline to care for the baby. Their next priority: finding the perfect name for the child who has already transformed their lives.

At home, Ipek informs Neve that she’s leaving for a few days with Oltan on a business trip. Neve observes her, commenting on how much Ipek reminds her of her mother, and offers her a shawl she finished. Oltan calls, signaling he’s outside, and Ipek, thrilled to be invited on a business trip, rushes out. Neve watches her leave, then receives a call from Sezai. He reports that Numan’s condition remains critical, still in a coma, and the prognosis is reserved. Sezai then asks about Ipek, and Neve explains that Ipek is distraught over her last words with her father, tormenting herself with regret. But Sezai is unforgiving, believing Ipek only regrets her plan failed and states that if it had succeeded, Guzide would be dead. Neve strongly defends Ipek, attributing her words to anger, but Sezai remains steadfast, convinced of Ipek’s premeditated attack on Guzide. He confesses that Ipek’s behavior is driving him mad, torn between pain and anger. He wants to believe in her repentance but cannot. Neve, understanding his turmoil, implores him not to tell Guzide yet, especially with the wedding approaching. Sezai agrees to wait.

In the car with Oltan, Ipek is surprised to find him driving without a chauffeur. Oltan, noticing her surprise, explains he enjoys long drives away from traffic. He then shows her a picture of a baby on his phone, stating she’s with Seline. Ipek, confused, asks who the baby is, and Oltan coldly clarifies that Tolga and Seline are foster parents. Ipek points out his coldness, and Oltan admits he’s unhappy about the situation, believing the newly reunited couple isn’t stable enough for such a big step. He confesses he wished he had been informed earlier.

The conversation shifts back to the baby, and Ipek asks if he’s happy to be a grandfather. Oltan responds with a chilling declaration: “That child is not my real granddaughter.” He adds that he would have been happy to see a biological grandchild from Tolga, a true child, not an adoption. Ipek is puzzled, questioning how he could expect a biological child from Tolga given Seline’s difficulties, suggesting divorce and remarriage would be the only way.

During the journey, Oltan opens up about two times he has cried: when Tolga’s mother died in a tragic accident, and years later, for Tolga. But now, he insists, he refuses to yield to emotion. This shared vulnerability creates a moment of emotional intimacy between them, but it’s abruptly shattered when a car swerves in front of them. Oltan brakes sharply, avoiding impact, but the other car crashes into a tree and ignites. Oltan rushes to the burning vehicle, seeing two adults and a child trapped inside, and notices the leaking fuel tank. Ipek, trying desperately to call for an ambulance, finds no signal. Oltan struggles to open the jammed door, then retrieves a metal bar from his car to pry it open, reassuring the child inside. Ipek stops a passing car, explaining the emergency, and the driver promises to find a signal and return. As the flames advance, Oltan finally opens the door, pulls out the child, and hands him to Ipek. He then rescues the mother as the flames near the fuel tank. The father is still trapped, but Oltan refuses to leave him. Despite Oltan’s shouts, Ipek rushes to help. Together, they free the man just moments before the car explodes, glass shattering around them. They are all alive, covered in dust, shaken but safe. Oltan looks at Ipek, struck by her courage and determination in the face of danger.

Back in Istanbul, Mualla and Oilum are at the courthouse for the divorce hearing. Mualla discusses with her lawyers while Oilum calls Guzide, informing her of the ongoing procedure. Guzide, irritated by the lack of prior notice, worries about intervening if complications arise. Oilum reassures her, confident it’s a formality that will allow Caraman to marry her and keep Gian. However, Guzide remains wary of Mualla, fearing her ulterior motives, and prepares for any unforeseen events.

Oltan and Ipek’s work trip continues in silence after their harrowing experience. The shared intimacy has faded, replaced by discomfort. Oltan breaks the quiet, asking Ipek if she’s hungry, and suggests stopping at a familiar restaurant. They arrive at a cozy trattoria, where Oltan orders house crostini and available dishes. They sit opposite each other, their eyes frequently meeting, a subtle tension building between them. The unspoken memory of their recent ordeal lingers in their gazes.

At the courthouse, Mualla’s divorce hearing officially begins. The judge asks Mualla if she has all necessary documents for Beran’s legal guardianship, and Mualla confidently confirms she does. The judge then asks if she accepts the divorce terms. Mualla hesitates, her eyes meeting Oilum’s, revealing an inner conflict. Oilum observes her, surprised and suspicious. Then, with a voice choked with emotion, Mualla declares that her son, Beran, is gravely ill and receiving medical treatment in Switzerland.

The words stun the courtroom. Oilum freezes, her heart pounding, fearing Guzide’s prediction is coming true – that Mualla is plotting to obstruct the divorce. At that very moment, on the courthouse stairs, Guzide is on the phone with Umit, expressing her concerns about Mualla’s potential scheme to harm her daughter. The call is brief, as Guzide rushes to the courtroom. Umit informs Zeynep and Jessim, who are in the kitchen, about Guzide’s worries, and Jessim agrees, suspicious of Mualla’s manipulative and dangerous nature.

The conversation then shifts to the failed catering contract with Mrs. Semi, which Umit is surprisingly relieved about. Just then, Jessim’s phone rings—it’s Mrs. Semi. Jessim hesitates, unsure whether to answer, but Umit urges her to. After a pause, Jessim takes a deep breath and accepts the call.

Oltan and Ipek’s trip continues, their lunch break ending. Oltan attempts to wash his face, but the water is too cold. Ipek goes to the restroom, splashing water on her face, and for a moment, a small smile touches her lips as she recalls Oltan’s bravery and their newfound connection. Returning to the dining room, she finds Oltan dozing in his chair. She quietly takes her shawl and gently drapes it over him. Oltan opens his eyes, looking at her with a knowing glance, seeking approval. Ipek smiles serenely. He rests his head on her shoulder, and she does the same. They remain close, in comfortable silence.

What will happen next? Will Mualla’s shocking revelation truly derail the divorce? Will Oltan ever fully accept the new baby? And what new challenges await Seline and Tolga as they embark on their parenting journey? Stay tuned for more!
