In the eighteenth episode of season 35 of Les Mystères de l’amour , broadcast on Sunday, December 8, 2024, Guéant ( Jean-Luc Voyeux ) and Stéphanie arrive at the police station. The police officer is relieved by Jérôme’s arrest and is happy to be a cop. But Stéphanie feels the opposite. She is uneasy at the thought of Jérôme being in perfect health in the next cell.
Stéphanie ( Marjorie Bourgeois ) confesses that she wanted to blow Jérôme’s head off instead of sending him to prison. Guéant reminds her that one cannot take the law into one’s own hands. But Stéphanie points out that he nearly killed Guéant, Fiona, and that he did kill Beaulieu. Guéant assures her that he will pay and adds that the judges will not be lenient with him. Stéphanie regains her composure, and Guéant explains that he has summoned Adeline, Jérôme’s other victim.

Fiona ( Fiona Deshayes) interrupts their conversation and thanks her colleagues for arresting Jérôme. She feels she can finally start a new life. Fiona saw in the reports that she wasn’t his only victim. She calls Jérôme a monster and regrets not having filed a complaint sooner. Guéant reminds her that she was under his influence.
Then, Fiona points out to Guéant that because of this whole situation, they couldn’t have dinner together the night before. So they decide to postpone it until this evening. Later, Fiona confronts Jérôme in his cell and says goodbye. Meanwhile, Stéphanie has received Fanny and Christian’s wedding card. Guéant interrupts her to ask how she is.
Stephanie breaks down in tears in The Mysteries of Love
Guéant admits he never understood why Fanny ( Elsa Esnoult ) and Christian ( Sébastien Roch ) broke up. Stéphanie explains that that’s life and her expression changes. Guéant realizes she’s thinking about Lieutenant Beaulieu. She knows her story has nothing to do with Christian and Fanny, but she confides in Guéant. The day before his death, Beaulieu had asked her to live with him. Stéphanie breaks down in tears.
She then regains her composure and advises Guéant about his date with Fiona. After Guéant leaves, Stéphanie reminisces about Beaulieu. She bursts into tears again before Fiona arrives. Thus, Beaulieu’s death seems to be a profound loss for Stéphanie. One can imagine her having a dramatic exit after her blunder against Jérôme.
The mysteries of love can be seen every Sunday from 8 p.m. on TMC.
