In the ninth episode of season 36 of The Mysteries of Love  , broadcast on Sunday, March 23, 2025 on TMC, Nicolas ( Patrick Puydebat ) saw Ingrid leave with Étienne and it made him jealous! So, Nicolas is alone in a bar, drinking alcohol. At the same time, Adrian ( Yvan Kereun ), Fanny ( Elsa Esnoult ), and Christian arrive at the bar.

Once settled in, Christian ( Sébastien Roch ) recognizes Nicolas and decides to talk to his friend. He tells him about the relationship between Ingrid and Étienne. Fanny’s husband is shocked by this revelation. Nicolas explains that they left for her place arm in arm. Christian thought Ingrid was into Nicolas, and Nicolas thought the same.

The mysteries of love: Ingrid manipulates Étienne to seduce Nicolas

Christian doesn’t understand, because the day before at rehearsal, Ingrid kept staring at him. Nicolas pretends he doesn’t care and explains that he’s thinking about Étienne. He doesn’t want him to get hurt. Nicolas confesses to Christian that Étienne had a fight with Mégane ( Claire Thomas ). Christian invites his friend to have a drink with him, Fanny, and Adrian.

Meanwhile, Étienne and Ingrid ( Carole Dechantre ) slept together. He was completely under her spell. Then, Ingrid finally confessed that she had used him to manipulate Nicolas and make him jealous. But Ingrid reassured Étienne and explained that she had still been attracted to him. She didn’t want to cause a rift between him and his friend. Furthermore, she thought Nicolas didn’t want her, and this would be a relief for him. Ingrid asked Étienne ( David Proux ) to sleep with her again, and he agreed.

Meanwhile, Christian finds himself alone with Nicolas. Nicolas confesses that it’s infuriating to know Ingrid is with Étienne. He throws a jealous fit. Fanny’s husband tries to reason with his friend and points out that Ingrid is crazy. Nicolas is aware of this, but reminds her that he has a daughter with her. He doesn’t know if he’s in love with her.

Christian provokes him and demands that he dump Hélène. But Nicolas has absolutely no intention of doing so. Christian eventually talks him down, and Nicolas thanks him, saying it felt good to talk. Then, Etienne arrives and joins Nicolas and Christian. He lies and explains that Ingrid hasn’t stopped talking about Nicolas. In fact, she asked Etienne to say that. Once alone, as he gets into his car, Nicolas asks Ingrid out on a date…
