In the twenty-sixth episode of season 36 of The Mysteries of Love, broadcast on Sunday, July 27, 2025 on TMC, Nicolas (Patrick Puydebat) is released from the hospital, but Hélène is still worried. He reminds her that he’s passed all the tests and is fine. His wife wanted him to sleep at the hospital, but he signed a waiver.
Hélène (Hélène Rollès) admits that she didn’t sleep all night. Every ten minutes, she checked to see if he was sleeping well. Nicolas reassures her once again that he’s fine and kisses his wife’s hand. Then, Hélène recalls Laly’s (Laly Meignan) vision. She had witnessed Nicolas’s accident, while he was accompanied by Ingrid.
Nicolas’s shocking revelations in The Mysteries of Love
Later, Nicolas, Ingrid, and Étienne are in the car. Émilie has taken possession of Ingrid and is going to the church. Étienne and Nicolas take the opportunity to chat. Nicolas admits that he dreamed about sleeping with Ingrid when he had his accident. So, Nicolas didn’t break down and therefore didn’t sleep with Ingrid in the previous episode.
Étienne (David Proux) asks him why he doesn’t give in to Ingrid. Nicolas thinks he’s still a little in love with her. Étienne can’t believe this revelation. Nicolas admits that his head is a mess, but emphasizes that Ingrid was there for him when everyone else gave up on him. He looks back on his history with her and explains why he can’t forget her.

Nicolas also explains why he agreed to her scheme with Zoé, his daughter. He admits that he doesn’t want to lose Hélène or Ingrid. The latter eventually returns and interrupts their conversation. Étienne eventually leaves, leaving Nicolas with Ingrid (Carole Dechantre). The latter invites him to go have coffee at her place. Once there, Ingrid confesses to Nicolas that she overheard his conversation with Étienne.
She admits that she deliberately pretended to be Émilie to trap him and listen in on his conversation. Nicolas admits to having feelings for her. Ingrid reminds him that he can stay with Hélène. She agrees to stay in the shadows and can take an official lover to cover his tracks. Ingrid and Nicolas kiss, but a phone call interrupts the moment. Hélène tells Nicolas that Zoé has had a terrible accident at school.
