In the second episode of season 37 of The  Mysteries of Love  , broadcast on Sunday, August 17, 2025 on TMC, Pierre ( Frank Delay ) and Jeanne ( Isabelle Bouysse ) are still in prison. As a reminder, they were attacked and had their cell phones stolen. But the couple fought back.

The problem is that the thugs claimed they were the ones who were attacked. In addition, the police officer found cell phones in Jeanne’s pocket when she tried to return them. As a result of this misunderstanding, Pierre and Jeanne are in prison because the attackers filed a complaint against them. The couple asked Guéant ( Jean-Luc Voyeux ) for help, but he finds himself limited by Samantha, the new police captain.

So, as this story continues, Pierre is still angry about this injustice. Then he thinks about Tobias, his son, who also works for the police. He could possibly help them. Meanwhile, even in the cell, Jeanne asks Pierre to do push-ups. At the police station, a man was arrested with several phones in his possession.

Then, Tobias ( Romeo Rocheteau ) arrives at the police station and introduces himself to Guéant. He is a lieutenant and explains that he is Pierre’s son. Samantha ( Natalia Benzaquen ) leaves her office and Tobias takes the opportunity to plead his father’s case. He vouches for her honesty and that of his partner. But the police captain wants to let justice do its work. She therefore refuses to release Jeanne and Pierre from custody.

Samantha, who is replacing Stéphanie ( Marjorie Bourgeois ) during her maternity leave, also refuses to let Tobias speak to Pierre and Jeanne. He is therefore powerless in the face of this situation. Meanwhile, in the cell, Pierre confesses to Jeanne that he is counting on Tobias’s help. He hopes she will convince the captain. Guéant then arrives to tell them the bad news.

Guéant brings Pierre and Jeanne sandwiches. Then he points out that for the police captain, the law is the law, and she won’t listen. He points out that Tobias was perfect. Pierre has no more ideas for getting out of this situation. Guéant admits that the judges are overloaded and that the couple will sleep in cells, because police custody is limited to a maximum of 48 hours. Jeanne and Pierre are therefore sentenced for the time being.
