In the eighteenth episode of season 35 of Les  Mystères de l’amour  , broadcast on Sunday, December 8, 2024 on TMC, Hélène ( Hélène Rollès ) wakes up, but without Nicolas ( Patrick Puydebat ). He was stabbed by Jérôme the day before while trying to save Fanny. Did he survive the attack?

Hélène gets out of bed and finds Nicolas shaving in the bathroom. He has a bandage over the stab wound. He was very lucky; the blade slipped off his ribs. Nicolas explains that he didn’t lose that much blood. Hélène admits she was scared when Christian ( Sébastien Roch ) told her about his injury.

Nicolas recounts Jérôme’s misdeeds. Then, Hélène explains to her husband that Ingrid was in a terrible state when she arrived at the hospital. Nicolas is surprised, as she’s usually used to this sort of thing. They then talk about Christian and Fanny’s ( Elsa Esnoult ) wedding, Christmas, and Niels’s birthday. The couple reminisces about Niels’s birth.

Later, Nicolas and Hélène join Laly ( Laly Meignan ) and Bénédicte ( Laure Guibert ) for breakfast. They are happy to see their friends in good health. Ingrid then joins the group and says she’s feeling great too. She offers to drop the children off at school with Nicolas, but Hélène objects. Her husband needs to rest after what he’s been through. Hélène doesn’t want him to exert himself and is counting on Ingrid to make sure he does.

Ingrid’s crazy proposal to Nicolas in The Mysteries of Love

Once Hélène, Laly, and Bénédicte have left, Ingrid ( Carole Dechantre ) takes the opportunity to confide in Nicolas that she was very scared for him. Then, just as she’s about to make a declaration, Émilie regains control over Ingrid. Later, Nicolas is trying to get his affairs in order and Ingrid joins him. He agrees to let her stay with him.

Ingrid looks at him with admiration. She has an idea in mind and confesses that she loves Hélène. She knows that Nicolas wants to remain faithful and doesn’t want to cheat on her with her. Ingrid wants to talk to him and imagines that she might agree. Nicolas laughs, but understands that she’s serious about her idea. Ingrid reminds him that they get along well and that they each have a child with him. She thinks that Hélène will agree, but Nicolas thinks otherwise.

A love triangle between Nicolas, Hélène and Ingrid in Les mystères de l’amour?

Ingrid wants to try, but Nicolas is hesitant. Ingrid knows his opinion and knows he still has feelings for her. Nicolas confirms this and says,  “It’s called friendship .” But Ingrid refers to the time they were in bed during their captivity by Dany. She felt he desired her. Nicolas makes it clear: he compliments Ingrid but would never cheat on his wife. Émilie regains control over Ingrid.

Thus,  Jean-Luc Azoulay , producer and screenwriter of the series, had this crazy idea of ​​creating a throuple between Hélène, Nicolas, and Ingrid. In an interview with  Toutelatele ,  Carole Dechantre , who plays Ingrid, confided regarding this possibility of a love triangle:  “Nicolas would be more on board, because things have happened with Ingrid and he’s with Hélène. But a love triangle wouldn’t be an option for Hélène . “
