In the seventeenth episode of season 35 of The Mysteries of Love, broadcast on Sunday, December 1, 2024, on TMC, the confrontation between Guéant (Jean-Luc Voyeux) and Fiona finally arrives! Before inviting Fiona, Guéant had rehearsed his declaration of love to Stéphanie. But Fiona overheard the conversation and thought her colleague was making the same speech to everyone.
Thus, Fiona violently rejected Guéant, who didn’t understand her reaction, just like Stéphanie. The latter ended up having a discussion with Fiona and the misunderstanding was resolved. Fiona was reassured, but completely embarrassed. Thus, she apologized to Guéant. The latter admitted that he didn’t dare speak to her and therefore preferred to rehearse with Stéphanie.
The Mysteries of Love: Is Guéant Ready to Kiss Fiona?
Fiona (Fiona Deshayes) asks Guéant to invite her back to lunch or even dinner. Guéant obliges and invites her to dinner that same evening. Stéphanie recommends the restaurant. Fiona is ironic about the situation and tells Stéphanie, “You can help me rehearse what I have to say.” Guéant takes this mockery with humor and admits to Fiona that she impresses him.
Fiona admits she’s touched and arranges to meet Guéant that evening before leaving the office. This time, Stéphanie thinks the stars are finally aligned for him. Guéant doesn’t realize it. Stéphanie is overjoyed for her two friends. She suggests he take Fiona home for a drink. Guéant hesitates because he doesn’t want to rush things.
Jérôme reconnects with Fiona, Stéphanie reveals her past in The Mysteries of Love
Stéphanie (Marjorie Bourgeois) advises him to at least take her home and kiss her on the lips. Fiona, panicking, bursts into the office and interrupts the conversation. She has received a message from Jérôme, her ex-fiancé. He sent her an apology, telling her he’s made a lot of money. They’ll be able to start a new life abroad.
Meanwhile, Jérôme is at the studio where he’s holding Fanny (Elsa Esnoult) hostage. He’s asked Christian (Sébastien Roch) for 100,000 euros. As a reminder, Jérôme is also the father of Adeline’s baby. At the police station, Fiona is in tears. Memories are flooding back, and she’s still under Jérôme’s influence. She was still touched by his message, even though he’s “a monster.” She denigrates herself. Jerry has managed to locate the number.
While Guéant leaves to buy sandwiches, Fiona confides in Stéphanie. She still can’t believe Jérôme’s actions. Stéphanie finally admits that she was also the victim of a narcissistic pervert. She confesses, recounting her painful past. Jérôme will eventually be arrested, but a tragedy will unfold…
