In the fourteenth episode of The Mysteries of Love, broadcast on Sunday, April 27, 2025, on TMC, Stéphanie (Marjorie Bourgeois) and Guéant put their plan into action so that Christian can talk to Etienne (David Proux) and Fanny can talk to Adrian. Thus, Fanny reunites with Adrian. She feels guilty about what’s happening to her, but the zoologist reassures her.
Adrian (Yvan Kereun) hates people who talk nonsense and doesn’t regret planting a tarantula on Sandra Wolf (Sandra Lou) live on air. Guéant (Jean-Luc Voyeux) leaves the office to leave Fanny with Adrian. He joins Stéphanie, who has also left Étienne with Christian.

Later, Guéant and Stéphanie decide to give them more time. Facing Fanny (Elsa Esnoult), Adrian discusses his theory about Sandra Wolf. He thinks she lied about her bite. He’s convinced her tarantulas have never bitten anyone and points out that they are animals that only attack when threatened.
Adrian thinks Sandra Wolf sought out a tarantula trainer to get herself bitten. He thinks of a name and thinks of “Jack Lafosse.” The latter films animal and insect fights and posts them online. Fanny wants to investigate and confront him. She assures Adrian that she “wants to do everything to help the people I love.” Adrian is touched by her words.

Later, Fanny thanks Stéphanie for the opportunity to talk to Adrian. She brings up the possibility of the tarantula trainer and warns her that she’ll go talk to him. But Stéphanie feels she doesn’t have to. This is the logical next step in the investigation; the police will take care of it.
But Fanny emphasizes that if the police talk to her, the animal trainer won’t talk because he’ll be too afraid of the consequences. Christian (Sébastien Roch) agrees with his wife. Stéphanie allows Fanny to investigate and assures her that they’ll come to the rescue if they need her.
