In the fourteenth episode of “Les Mystères de l’amour ,” broadcast on Sunday, April 27, 2025, on TMC, after retrieving Peter’s hard drive, Nicolas ( Patrick Puydebat ) accepted Ingrid’s invitation to celebrate the success of their mission. But Tania ( Sandrine Sengier ) drugged their drinks. Ingrid and Nicolas then kissed.
Nicolas wakes up at Ingrid’s house, but it’s Émilie, his evangelist alter ego, who’s taking care of him. She gives him herbal tea, explaining that it helps curb sexual urges. Nicolas apologizes for his behavior. Just as he was about to kiss Ingrid, she switched places with Émilie. Émilie admits she was surprised when Nicolas jumped on her.

Nicolas doesn’t understand and admits he was overcome by an irresistible urge to “cope.” He doesn’t know he’s been drugged, just like Émilie. She apologizes for slapping him, but Nicolas insists she did the right thing. Émilie reminds him that violence is wrong and adds that she kicked him in the groin right after. He calmed down after that.
Emilie gives Nicolas more herbal tea. He still doesn’t understand what happened. But Emilie tells him the truth: Ingrid gave him a love potion. Nicolas remembers that she did the same thing to him a few years ago. Emilie insists that it was the devil who made her do it. Then, Ingrid regains control and prepares to make love to Nicolas, but he calls Emilie back. She regains control.

While Nicolas gets dressed, Émilie begins to pray and sings a hymn. Later, Ingrid ( Carole Dechantre ) regains control and speaks with Nicolas. She apologizes for her behavior and admits that she should never have drugged him by giving him that aphrodisiac. Nicolas confesses that he was disappointed when Émilie told him this.
Ingrid explains that it was a moment of madness and not the right way to win back her love. Nicolas reminds Ingrid that he can’t give her what he wants because he’s not free. Ingrid understands this but wants to remain hopeful. He advises her to find someone who is single, but she can’t stop thinking about him. Émilie regains her composure and goes to pray.
