In the twelfth episode of season 36 of The Mysteries of Love  , broadcast on Sunday, April 13, 2025 on TMC, John ( Richard Pigois ) slept with Audrey and thus cheated on Gabriella. Gabriella discovered their affair, and things escalated. As a result, she made a drastic decision.

While in the car with Jeanne, Gabriella ( Virginie Théron ) confesses to having challenged Audrey to a duel. They’re going to kill each other over John. Following the codes of honor in the 19th century, they’re going to shoot each other with pistols. Jeanne is stunned, while Gabriella continues her delusional plan. She even wanted to fight her with swords, but Audrey has never taken fencing lessons.

Eve ( Eve Peyrieux ) is holding the gun, and Audrey is determined to get rid of Gabriella.

Jeanne, who recently saved a young singer, tries to dissuade Gabriella once again, but to no avail. Audrey also arrives with Eve. Pierre and John observe the scene. Jeanne and Eve check that there are indeed three bullets in each revolver. Before the duel, Jeanne asks once again to stop, but Gabriella refuses. Pierre’s wife explains that there is no referee, so the duel cannot take place.
