The series Les Mystères de l’Amour returns for its 37th season with a special event. Hélène, Nicolas, Laly, and the entire cast and crew travel to Lille for a charity concert at the Théâtre Sébastopol. This nostalgic storyline spans three episodes broadcast on TF1+.
The story begins at the end of season 36. Hélène had organized a charity concert to support the Australian Doctors Foundation, a fictional organization. The success of this event impresses the organizers.
Faced with the influx of winnings and donations, the foundation invites Hélène to perform once again. This time, the concert takes place in the capital of Flanders. The entire team boards a minibus to Lille.

“You’re going to see Lille, it’s magnificent. We’re going to eat Welsh and carbonnade… and Maroilles cheese!”
Actor Patrick Puydebat knows the city well, having lived there.
A memorable concert at the Sébastopol Theater
Hélène on vocals, Etienne on bass, Nicolas on guitar, Cricri d’amour on drums, Jimmy on keyboards… Cathy, Laly, and Bénédicte are also in attendance. All these people gather on stage at the Sébastopol Theater. This concert recalls a real-life event called “Hélène, et les garçons, et les filles.” However, this event caused a hiccup for fans who had paid more to meet the actors.
The plot surrounding this trip to Lille unfolds over three episodes. The first episode aired on Sunday, August 10th, and is available on the TF1+ replay website. The next two will air on the next two Sundays.
A Nostalgic Journey
This plot clearly plays on nostalgia for the fans, the actors, and their characters. During the drive to Lille, they sing Hélène’s greatest hits together: “Hélène je m’appelle” (My Name is Hélène), “Pour l’amour d’un garçon” (For the Love of a Boy)… The journey is rather fanciful and rural, in no way resembling the road to the North. They stop “near Lille” to eat “good fries” at the Auberge de l’Épine… which is located in Essonne. But hey, we won’t bother with details!
