The Mysteries of Love: TMC Takes a Hit
The new episode of the series “The Mysteries of Love” in which Nicky once again brushed with death, attracted 430,000 viewers this Sunday, January 12, 2025, on TMC between 8:00 PM and 9:01 PM, representing a 2% market share among viewers aged four and over. Hélène Rollès is disappointed, because after a significant increase in ratings thanks to the end of the show “Face à Hanouna,” which boosted the TMC soap opera, ratings are once again down. Compared to the previous season, Jean-Luc Azoulay’s soap opera lost 40,000 viewers and 0.2 points of market share.
Furthermore, this decline is painful, as TMC finds itself behind W9, the second-ranked TNT channel, with reruns of “La petite histoire de France.” The adventures of Nicolas and Jeanne, however, find some comfort among commercial audiences. The new episode attracted 4.6% of female purchasing managers under fifty. TMC thus overtakes France 3 in this regard and ranks as the leading TNT channel. Les mystères de l’amour thus once again manages to stabilize its position with this popular target audience.
Les mystères de l’amour hits hard in reruns!
A few hours earlier, TMC chose to rebroadcast the prime-time show Si on se mariait à Noël (If We Were Married at Christmas), starring Elsa Esnoult and Sébastien Roch. The three episodes attracted 14,000, 32,000, and 42,000 viewers between 5:08 and 7:48 a.m., representing a 2.2%, 3.7%, and 2.7% market share among the overall audience. The couple’s adventures were overtaken on TNT by “Au nom de la vérité” on TF1 Séries Films, “Véto and Co” on 6ter, as well as “Fais entre l’accusé” and “Hors de contrôle” on RMC Story.
However, among commercial audiences, Hélène Rollès achieved impressive ratings: 13.5%, 13.5%, and 12% of female purchasing managers under fifty for this prime-time rerun. TMC thus climbed to third place among national channels in this category, behind TF1 and M6.
“The mysteries of love” can be found every Sunday at 8:00 p.m. on TMC.
