In the fourth episode of season 37 of Les Mystères de l’amour, broadcast on Sunday, September 7, 2025 on TMC, ever since Hélène’s (Hélène Rollès) concert in Lille, Ingrid (Carole Dechantre) hasn’t stopped flirting with Étienne. This seems to be a strategy to achieve her goal: winning Nicolas back by making him jealous.
So, while Nicolas (Patrick Puydebat) goes to the kitchen to get a drink, Ingrid decides to go with him and tells the others she needs to get something from her room. Étienne confesses to the group that he doesn’t know why Ingrid is so popular with him. Hélène reminds him that he’s in a relationship, but Étienne (David Proux) insists he’s just playing along for a laugh. Cathy (Cathy Andrieu) has her doubts.
The Mysteries of Love: Nicolas Gives in to Ingrid
. In the kitchen, Nicolas questions Ingrid about her relationship with Étienne. She confesses, “Since you don’t want to kiss me, I have to find something to do,” and adds that Étienne isn’t bad looking. Nicolas insists he isn’t jealous, but Ingrid doubts it. She asks Nicolas to kiss her, and in exchange, she’ll dump Étienne.
Nicolas thinks it’s blackmail and finds it ridiculous. But Ingrid wants to be sure he cares for her. Nicolas reassures her, but reminds her that he can’t do anything about Hélène. Ingrid persists and asks for just a friendly kiss. Nicolas finally gives in and they kiss passionately. Later, Ingrid continues to be amused by Nicolas’s jealousy of Étienne.

Ingrid is pleased that Nicolas is jealous and confesses that she won’t do anything with Étienne. She just wanted to see his reaction, and it worked. Then, they kiss passionately again. But Christian (Sébastien Roch) sees them through the window! He finally discovers the affair between Nicolas and Ingrid.
Later, Christian tells Nicolas he needs to talk to him about a work project so Ingrid will leave. He confesses to having caught him with Ingrid and demands an explanation. Nicolas knows it’s wrong but can’t bring himself to explain. He thinks he’s fallen in love with her again but admits Hélène remains his priority. Christian warns him, saying it’s going to end badly.
