In Tomorrow Belongs to Us, Jordan doesn’t know where he stands anymore! On the occasion of Maxime Lélue’s appearance at the La Rochelle Fiction Festival, the AlloCiné editorial team took the opportunity to ask him about this intense love triangle.
Jordan’s love life is in chaos in Tomorrow Belongs to Us! Torn between Violette (Salomé Benitha) and Judith (Alice Varela), the young man is completely lost. Interviewed by us at the La Rochelle Fiction Festival, Maxime Lélue opened up about his reunion with the woman who plays his ex:
“On set, I hadn’t seen her for a while, but we get along very well in everyday life and she’s one of the actors in the series with whom I spend most of my time. So I didn’t feel any real absence. On the other hand, it’s quite funny because we immediately got back into our little habits.”
“We immediately found something”
He continues: “There’s a kind of dynamic between two people. You start to know how she expresses herself, how she thinks, how she rehearses her sequences. We immediately found something, it was quite funny. I was so happy to find her again.”
The fact remains that their bond still seems as strong as ever. Enough to sow discord in the couple formed by Jordan and Violette: “It was a matter of saying to each other: ‘Judith is going to come back and things are going to get busy for Violette and Jordan.’”
“People may not be happy, but a relationship that lasts a long time and where there are no obstacles, they are not happy either. We also have to shake things up a little and create movement. All three of us were happy, Salomé included, when she read that it was going to turn everything upside down,” he explains to our microphone.
“Jordan is going to have to make a difficult choice”
“That’s what we tend to forget: the two actresses get along really well. When they read that, they were like, ‘Ah, but this is going to be huge, it’s going to be so cool to play this triangle.’ It’s so cool. Jordan finds herself having to make this difficult choice that I wouldn’t want to make in her place.”
