On Tuesday, September 23, an iconic couple from M6’s L’amour est dans le pré took to their Instagram account to clarify matters with their followers. Is former contestant Floriane still with Julien?
The twentieth season of Love is in the Meadow continues every Monday evening on M6 under the watchful eye of Karine Le Marchand. Speed dating and farm encounters follow one another, as is the case for Océane, Anthony, and Gilles, whose encounters already promise their share of emotions.
“You don’t see him much or ever anymore.”
Long before them, another love story had left its mark on audiences. In 2008, during season 3, Floriane Pageau portrayed Julien, a young cattle breeder then aged 25 living in Loire-Atlantique. Love is in the Meadow was presented at the time by Véronique Mounier. Julien had a real crush on the young woman, already the mother of Diego and Méline. Their romance quickly took shape with a marriage proposal shortly after filming. The couple has since welcomed two more children, Axel in 2012 and Lina in 2014.
More than fifteen years later, Floriane and Julien continue to share updates from their daily lives on Instagram, where some 4,500 followers follow their family. But one detail recently surprised the faithful: Axel’s rare presence in the publications. Faced with questions from her followers, Floriane chose to clarify things in a story published Tuesday, September 23: “The dogs with Axel, you don’t see him much or even never anymore and yet, he also has a lot of complicity with the girls ,” she begins with a photo of the dogs in the background where we can also see what look like the young boy’s feet.
Julien’s health problems
“He just doesn’t want to anymore, and we always ask ourselves before a story whether the child in question wants to or not. We respect his choice since it’s his image ,” the mother continues. And she concludes: “You have the explanation for Axel, but the same goes for the other three.”
At the same time, the family is going through a difficult time. Julien has experienced several health problems. Victim of a stroke in April 2023, following a heart problem, the farmer learned in June 2025 that a nodule in his ear would require surgery. More recently, on September 20, Floriane shared on Instagram her concern after “suddenly feeling very dizzy.”
