A bolt from the blue for fans of the series The Mysteries of Love. The series will end on TMC at the end of 2025. However, Jean-Luc Azoulay, its longtime producer, made a major announcement at the beginning of October 2025.
This Wednesday, October 8, 2025, caused a small earthquake among fans of Hélène et les garçons: the magazine Télé Loisirs revealed that the series Les mystères de l’amour would end on TMC after 14 years of broadcasting. A thunderclap for the fiction carried by Hélène Rollès, Carole Dechantre, Laly Meignan and Patrick Puydebat.
The actors quickly reacted on social media. “Oh my God, what an emotional rollercoaster it’s been since last night!! (…) the end of the best series of all time. We didn’t sleep a wink all night…” wrote one of them. “It’s going to be weird not seeing them on Sunday nights and talking to each other anymore,” said another fan of the weekly drama.
The mysteries of love weakened on TMC
The series has seen a sharp decline in audience figures since the start of the 2025/2026 season. In terms of audience figures, it attracted 345,000 people for the four episodes broadcast between September 7 and October 5, 2025, in the early evening on TMC, representing a 1.8% market share among those aged four and over.
This represents a 20% drop in viewership and a 0.3-point drop in market share compared to the previous season. Furthermore, The Mysteries of Love was beaten by reruns on TNT, such as The Little History of France on W9 and Friends on TFX.
Jean-Luc Azoulay, through his production company, broke his silence a few hours after this shocking announcement and confirmed the end of the series Les mystères de l’amour in December 2025. “TF1 and JLA Productions have decided by mutual agreement to stop broadcasting “Les Mystères de L’Amour” on TMC at the end of the year, after 14 years of uninterrupted success, whose current schedule no longer allows this cult series to flourish,” he declared.

The Mysteries of Love: Jean-Luc Azoulay Announces a Revival of the Series
The iconic producer of Club Dorothée, however, wanted to reassure fans. “Fans can rest assured, they will find Hélène, Nicolas, Fanny, Christian and all their iconic friends from 2026 on another channel that they will know very soon!!!”, he posted on the JLA Groupe X account.
What about their new destination after more than 30 years with the TF1 group? NOVO19 or RMC Life could serve as a welcoming home for Hélène and her friends, particularly to meet production requirements. Unless Jean-Luc Azoulay has a few more surprises in store for Hélène and Nicolas’s loyal fans for the beginning of 2026.
In the meantime, The Mysteries of Love can be found every Sunday at 8 p.m. on TMC and at any time on the TF1+ platform.
