As an aside, Franck Gonzalez was delighted with the arrival of Calypso, considered a bandage baby. “Mélanie gave birth to our ninth child. Calypso, a little girl. Everything went very well,” he declared, moved, before continuing with humor: “I gave everything, I pushed, I concentrated, I breathed in and out and she arrived.” Regarding the choice of the first name which also ends in “o” like all the other first names of the siblings, the father explained: “We chose Calypso, because at first, it doesn’t break the chain of o. The diminutive is Cali and he is a singer that we like a lot.”
For Mélanie Gonzalez (Large Families) , giving birth on September 13 was out of the question.
Mélanie Gonzalez revealed that the contractions took place on Friday, September 13. Except that for her, giving birth on that date was out of the question, since it was Malo’s birthday. So she tried to hold on, but the contractions were so strong that they quickly left for the maternity ward. “The epidural was in and after midnight, I said to myself, it’s okay Mel, it’s not the 13th anymore and it’s not Malo’s birthday anymore ,” she said. Calypso would arrive an hour later.
