There’s more change in the Cail family. After both announcing they were giving their professional lives a new lease on life, Marie-Caroline and Guillaume have taken on the task of renovating their cozy nest. Indeed, four years after buying their house, the parents of six children decided to dive back into the work so that their interior is truly adapted to the needs of their XXL tribe. While a major project, consisting of redoing all the pipes in the house, has recently begun, the participant in the reality show  Familles grandes: la vie en XXL  opened up to her subscribers on the subject on September 18. “ Four years ago, we knew we wouldn’t have the budget to redo everything, so we prioritized the living areas: kitchen, laundry room, living room, dining room, and our bedroom. But we didn’t touch anything in the rest of the house. We knew we would do it gradually, and now it’s cool to see that we’re going to give a little spruce-up to rooms that really need it, ” she said happily. Before focusing on the work in progress: “ Nothing worked in the bathroom anymore, the toilet didn’t work, the pipes needed to be redone. […] For four years, we had one bathroom with one toilet for eight people. ”

Marie-Caroline Cail ( Large Families ) tried by a difficult start to the week, confides

There are good days and bad days… And this September 23rd is definitely one of those days where nothing works as we would like for Marie-Caroline Cail. And it all started as soon as the mother woke up! “ I went to bed at 1 a.m. for work. I’ve been up since 5 a.m., feeling tired and not showered…  I’m this close to putting a filter on this video ,” she confessed to her subscribers, while typing on her computer keyboard. Despite her high level of fatigue, Guillaume’s wife didn’t let these few elements disrupt her day and especially, her schedule. But when things really don’t work out… A few minutes later, the entrepreneur revealed one of her little Basile’s surprises, who, visibly, got up on the wrong side of the bed. “ I’m not talking about the teenage crisis of the 4-year-old who, as a result of frustration, turned the laundry room upside down ,” she wrote, filming the result of the little boy’s emotional storm: the floor covered in dirty or clean clothes, what does it matter in the end!

In the afternoon, Marie-Caroline addressed her followers in front of the camera… And if her confessions are anything to go by, this day hasn’t finished testing her. ” It’s crazy how everything has been resisting me since this morning. I’ve only had minor problems every ten minutes or so. Apart from my lunch meeting, which went well, this day has been a massacre! ” she said, preferring to laugh rather than let herself get down.
