In the first episode of season 37 of Les  Mystères de l’amour  , broadcast on Sunday, August 10, 2025 on TMC, Pierre ( Frank Delay ) and Jeanne ( Isabelle Bouysse ) are out for a jog. Pierre mentions that he has had no memory of their past lives for a few days. He seems to be cured, much to Jeanne’s delight. But their happiness will be short-lived…

While jogging, Pierre and Jeanne are held up by two people. The robbers demand their phones and money. The couple defends themselves, and Jeanne manages to get her phone back. She also takes the robbers’ phones. As they resume their jog, the robbers arrive with the police!

The mysteries of love: Pierre and Jeanne trapped, they are under arrest!

The two criminals explained to the police that the couple had stolen their cell phone. One of the officers searched Jeanne’s pocket and discovered several phones. Pierre and Jeanne were then arrested. With their backs to the police, the two individuals made provocative gestures. Jeanne, who had recently discovered a shocking truth, and Pierre were thus taken into custody.

Once at the police station, Jeanne confronts Guéant ( Jean-Luc Voyeux ). He asks what happened. Jeanne then tells her side of the story. Guéant convinces his police officer friend that they are innocent and telling the truth. He promises to sort things out with the captain and reassures the couple. Pierre is convinced that Stéphanie will get them out of this mess…

Guéant under pressure, Pierre and Jeanne remain in prison in The Mysteries of Love

But Stéphanie ( Marjorie Bourgeois ) is on maternity leave; her due date is at the end of the month. While she’s away, a new police captain has been appointed: Samantha ( Natalia Benzaquen ). Guéant insists that Jeanne and Pierre are incapable of such a thing, but the captain won’t hear of it. She takes a firm stance and places Pierre and Jeanne in custody.

Later, Pierre and Jeanne are in a cell. They blame themselves for having been set up by thugs and think they shouldn’t have let them go. Guéant then arrives and tells them the news: there’s nothing he can do. He apologizes and gives them something to eat. Guéant mentions that the captain almost reprimanded him for being too insistent. The thugs have filed a complaint against Pierre and Jeanne. They will remain in prison pending trial.

This is a tragic outcome for the couple. Jeanne tells Guéant that two phones have been stolen. She advises him to contact the people whose phones were stolen so they can testify on their behalf. Guéant promises to investigate.
