“I came home from the hospital without her”: Mélanie Gonzalez (Large Families) announces “serious health concerns” for a member of her tribe

This Monday, October 13, Mélanie Gonzalez, star mom of  Familles grandes: la vie en XXL,  shared particularly difficult news concerning her animals, plunging her community into worry.

A year after the birth of their youngest, Calypso, viewers were able to relive one of the Gonzalez tribe’s most memorable moments in new episodes of  Familles grandes: la vie en XXL  broadcast on TF1. Leaving the maternity ward, Mélanie appeared radiant, but emotion was evident on her face. And for good reason, the mother of ten children revealed that this was her last pregnancy. While the Gonzalez family’s participation in the show’s tenth season has not yet been confirmed, their fans continue to follow their adventures on social media or through various interviews. For  TV Actu (Allociné) , Mélanie Gonzalez discussed a topic that resonates with many parents: the mental load.  “When you have nine children, it’s multiplied by nine,”  she confides. She also mentions the famous “evening tunnel”: that moment when everything happens at home: meals, homework, baths… But despite this life of twelve at home, Mélanie wouldn’t trade her large tribe for anything in the world.

Large Families  : Mélanie Gonzalez Gives Worrying News About Her Cats

In addition to juggling the busy schedule of her ten children, Mélanie Gonzalez also has to take care of the other members of her tribe: her animals. This Monday, October 13, the mother shared some sad news on Instagram:  “Utopia is going to the vet, she’s not in good shape,” she noted, accompanying her message with a photo of her cat installed in a crate on the passenger seat of her car. Later, the tone became more serious:  “I came home alone, without Utopia… Her kidneys are affected and she’s becoming dehydrated. Her temperature is very low. They’re going to give her an IV drip and medication so she can eat. Fingers crossed!”  And since one blow never comes alone, Mélanie Gonzalez also revealed that their Maine Coon remains missing.  “I think he’s at someone’s house because he’s chipped,”  she said, inviting her community to share the missing person notice in an attempt to find him.

Franck Gonzalez ready to do anything to keep his daughter at home

Back home, Mélanie Gonzalez struggles to get back on track after this series of bad news. Meanwhile, the two parents continue the work on their house, a long-term project. To keep Margot, their 17-year-old daughter, under his roof for as long as possible, Franck will stop at nothing: a renovated bedroom, a private bathroom… and soon a washing machine! A testament to his love from a father who isn’t yet ready to cut the cord.
