Teyssier Betrays Clotilde
Léonard meets Ismaël at the greenhouse, where the latter has arranged to meet him. He reveals that he has been going out with Bianca for a long time. Léonard then tries to understand the meaning of the kiss they shared when they were in Castelmont. Ismaël retorts that he didn’t dare push him away, claiming he’s neither gay nor bisexual. Léonard takes the blow, especially since Ismaël asks him not to say anything about their kiss to Bianca.
Meanwhile, Constance confesses to Teyssier that she can’t bear to see Ferdinand at the Institute. Seeing him brings everything about his father back to the surface. Teyssier reassures his wife by declaring that he will find a way to get rid of Ferdinand.
He meets Anouk and Louis in his office to submit a last-minute change to the entrance exam. He requests that the tests be eliminatory. Anouk and Louis agree on the condition that the final round of the competition take place in the Calvières arena. Teyssier relents.
A little later, Louis announces the competition’s schedule to the candidates: the first round consists of cooking eggs in ten different ways; the second round will be a dining room round; and the third round will be a creativity round, which will take place in public in the Calvières arena. Clotilde is stunned. She feels betrayed by Teyssier, who agreed to this condition behind her back.
With that, the first round of the entrance exam begins. At the Atelier, Teyssier and Clotilde supervise some of the candidates. The chef doesn’t hesitate to help Ferdinand, who is struggling with his eggs.
At the end of the day, the list of candidates who passed the first round is posted at the Institute: Ferdinand, Bianca, Fleur, Joséphine, Loup, and César all passed.
For his part, Teyssier reproaches Clotilde for helping Ferdinand during the test. Clotilde retorts that she is only taking revenge for his betrayal. She even declares that the more he tries to get rid of Ferdinand, the more she will ensure that he is admitted to the Institute…
Gary, Thelma, and Zoé open the betting.
In the kitchen, Enzo needs volunteers to wash dishes. Thelma volunteers and asks Gary to do it with her. He turns instead to Penelope. But she admits that she won a bet last year to avoid washing dishes.
Thelma and Gary look into the bet in question and learn that Penelope had bet on the candidates who would pass last year’s entrance exam. When they persist, Penelope reveals that she had bet on Coline, Gaspard, and Gary. Thelma is a little offended. She then decides to place bets on this year’s candidates as well.
Later, Thelma and Gary meet Zoé in the park. Thelma suggests betting on which candidate will get a higher score in the entrance exam and splitting the prize if they bet on the same candidate. In this case, Gary bets on Bianca, while Thelma and Zoé bet on Ninon.
Solal and Carla Get Along Wonderfully
Zoé confesses to Solal that she agreed to have tea with Bérénice and Carla together to make up for the night before. Solal isn’t thrilled with the idea of spending time with Carla, but he agrees to please his girlfriend.
At the coffee shop, Solal and Carla finally discover a lot in common and get along wonderfully. Zoé and Bérénice are relieved. A little later, Louis announces the competition to the candidates: the first round consists of cooking eggs in ten different ways; the second round will be a table-top competition; and the third round will be a creativity test, which will take place in public in the Calvières arena. Clotilde is stunned. She feels betrayed by Teyssier, who agreed to this condition behind her back.
