Is Hector the son of Auguste Armand?
At the Hôtel Jourdain, Teyssier presses Andréa to find out why Auguste Armand ceded the establishment to them. To avoid answering his questions, she offers him a deal: she is willing to organize a vote that afternoon regarding the partnership between the hotel and the Institute, provided he stops digging into their past. Teyssier agrees.
At the Institute, Joachim cooks with Clotilde to try and cheer her up, but without success. At the same time, Hector arrives to speak with her alone. He assumes she didn’t want to lead the brunch team with him because of her accident, after which she completely cut ties with him. Clotilde replies that she simply doesn’t have the time. Hector then mentions the vote held that afternoon regarding the partnership. The chef declares that she is against it.
Meanwhile, Teyssier meets his wife in the park. She has just received news about their son, Théo, who has been dumped by Célia. Although he agreed to organize the vote, Teyssier confesses to Constance that he would like to know what the Jourdains are hiding from him. She suggests he talk to Clotilde. Teyssier confronts her, but Chief Armand insists that she knows nothing more than what she has already told him.
Later, Teyssier, Rose, Andréa, Jeanne, and Hector vote in favor of the partnership. Only Clotilde, who was absent from the meeting, votes against it. Afterward, Teyssier and Hector linger over the brunch menu. Hector reveals that he used one of Auguste Armand’s trade secrets, explaining that Armand had taken him under his wing when his parents were the guardians of the Institute.
Back at the Institute, Teyssier tells Rose that Auguste Armand gifted the hotel to the Jourdain family and passed on all his manufacturing secrets to Hector. In his view, there’s only one possible explanation: Hector must be Auguste Armand’s son. Rose then confronts her sister, who confirms that this is the truth…
