Monday, November 3rd in Here It All Begins…

At the Institute, Ismaël asks Léonard to go talk to Teyssier because the latter caught them kissing the previous day. Léonard believes the director has more important things to worry about than revealing this secret. Besides, he is deeply hurt by Ismaël’s attitude, who refuses to acknowledge the kiss they shared. Suddenly, Bianca interrupts them and goes to her boyfriend.

Meanwhile, Teyssier assures Rose and Clotilde that he has found the ideal location, very close to the Institute, to create a training hotel. He explains that he will meet with the owner that afternoon and will arrange a meeting with them immediately afterward. Rose and Clotilde are a little worried that the purchase of the hotel hasn’t already been finalized. But Teyssier reassures them.

With that, Clotilde heads to the kitchen to announce to Léonard, Zoé, Bianca, and Ismaël that they will have to put together an impromptu gourmet brunch in just a few hours. She then returns to taste each pair’s creations. Finding that Bianca and Ismaël’s dishes lacked personality, she decides in favor of Léonard and Zoé.

Meanwhile, Teyssier goes to the Hôtel Jourdain and meets Jeanne, the owner. They are interrupted by Jeanne’s mother, Andréa, who immediately retorts that the hotel is not for sale. Jeanne tries to convince her that it’s the only thing to do, as they’ve been struggling since her father’s death this summer. But Andréa remains firm in her position.

Once Teyssier had left, Jeanne continued trying to reason with her mother, without success. At the same time, her son, who was none other than Ismaël, joined them. In a rather bad mood, he then went to isolate himself in his room.

At the Institute, Teyssier explains to Constance that the Jourdain family no longer wants to sell her their hotel. Constance then remembers that this is Ismaël’s surname. What he told her about his past matches what Jeanne told her husband. Teyssier then intends to use Ismaël to get the hotel back…

Fleur is hurt by Josephine

During baking class, Loup suggests to Fleur that they team up. She declines, claiming she already asked César. Loup then teams up with Joséphine.

Later, Fleur gives Josephine a flimsy excuse to decline her invitation to lunch with her and Loup.

Back in pastry class, Fleur is completely unsettled by the obvious closeness between Loup and Joséphine. César begins to realize this and advises her to talk to them about it.

After class, Fleur meets Josephine at Jude’s Counter to tell her that Loup has a crush on her. Josephine then reveals that she already knows, and tells her everything that happened between them, including why she doesn’t want to be in a relationship with him. Fleur says she’s deeply hurt that she lied to her about it for so long.

Tom puts Julia aside

At the Atelier, Tom has Rose and Enzo taste his dish. They agree to let him take over the restaurant, provided Julia assists him. However, Julia expresses her disagreement. Tom also explains that they won’t be able to work together effectively. But Rose and Enzo leave them no choice.

To get revenge, Tom deliberately gives Julia a bad schedule, making her late for preparations, then treats her like a junior clerk and rejects all her ideas. At her wit’s end, the young woman decides to leave the kitchen brigade.
