Here It All Begins spoiler: Fleur makes a decision (video episode from November 4th)

The November 4th episode promises to be an emotional and strategic turning point for several characters at the Auguste Armand Institute. Passions, resentments, and ambitions clash, while an unexpected decision by Fleur changes everything. In a tense atmosphere, rife with secrets, betrayals, and revelations, each character will have to make a crucial choice—at the risk of losing everything.

The morning dawns with a heavy atmosphere at the Institute. After several days of uncertainty, rumors are rife about Teyssier’s return and his intentions. The students, torn between admiration and fear, redouble their efforts to live up to expectations. But another tension simmers in the shadows: the one surrounding Fleur and her future at the school. For weeks, the pastry chef has seemed preoccupied, torn between her professional aspirations and an increasingly untenable personal situation. And on November 4th, everything changes.

In her laboratory, Fleur retreats into silence, concentrating on a sweet creation with floral notes. Behind her precise movements, a deep unease is palpable. Clotilde tries to start a conversation, but Fleur avoids her, shunning sensitive topics. Yet, a glance speaks volumes: something is eating away at her. The memory of a violent disagreement with Joachim still haunts her. The day before, a heated discussion about their respective projects had brought their relationship to the brink of collapse. Hurt, Joachim accuses her of putting her career above everything else. Fleur, for her part, wonders if staying at the Institute hasn’t become an obstacle to her freedom.

Meanwhile, among the students, chaos reigns. Carla revels in provoking yet another quarrel between Zoé and Léonard, but her dangerous game attracts the attention of Bérénice, who begins to see through her manipulations. Loup, as resentful as ever, devises a plan to get revenge on Ethan after the humiliation he suffered during a previous culinary challenge. Tension mounts with each course, and the slightest glance becomes a pretext for conflict. In this chaos, Ismaël tries his best to calm tempers. He summons the students for a serious talk: “At the Institute, we learn discipline and respect, not revenge.” But his words are not enough to quell the storm.

Meanwhile, Antoine is preoccupied by a confidential file found on Teyssier’s desk. A memo mentions an upcoming administrative reorganization and surprise appointments. Clotilde, who has been let in on the secret, fears that Teyssier is trying to sideline certain teachers to impose his authoritarian vision. She also suspects that Fleur is involved. For several days now, the director has been making repeated remarks about her, criticizing her methods and her “lack of commitment.” For Clotilde, the message is clear: Teyssier wants to force her out.

That afternoon, an unexpected event precipitates matters. During a cooking demonstration, Fleur loses her temper when a clumsy student spills an entire dish. The argument escalates, and she speaks without thinking. Ismaël intervenes to defuse the situation, but the damage is done. The students stare at her in astonishment: she is not the calm and kind chef they know. Later, in her office, Fleur confides in Clotilde. She admits to feeling overwhelmed, exhausted by the pressure and constant criticism. “I feel like I don’t belong here anymore,” she says, her voice trembling. Clotilde tries to reassure her, but the decision seems already made in her mind.

As evening falls and the sun sets over the Institute’s gardens, Fleur meets with Joachim. The tension between them is palpable. He again reproaches her for letting Teyssier dominate her and for not standing up for their relationship against the demands of her profession. Fleur, on the verge of tears, confides that she has made a decision: to temporarily leave the Institute to focus on herself and rediscover the joy of cooking. Joachim is shocked but understands that this step may be their only chance to reconnect. The moving scene marks a turning point for the character. Fleur, usually so rational, finally follows her instincts.

Meanwhile, Teyssier learns the news and reacts violently. For him, Fleur’s departure represents a personal defeat: “She’s running away because she couldn’t handle the pressure.” But Antoine sharply rebukes him, accusing him of seeing only competition where there is humanity. Clotilde, for her part, decides to organize an impromptu farewell dinner to celebrate the departure of her colleague and friend. Around the table, the emotion is palpable. Zoé, Bérénice, and Enzo speak to thank Fleur for her kindness and high standards. Laughter and tears mingle in this heartfelt scene. Even Teyssier, who had remained aloof, ends up giving her a discreet, almost respectful nod.

But the respite is short-lived. The next day, an anonymous message circulates among the students, claiming that Fleur didn’t leave voluntarily, but was forced out. The rumor spreads rapidly, reigniting tensions. Antoine and Clotilde vow to find out who is behind the leak. All eyes turn to Carla, but the young woman vehemently denies it. Teyssier, for his part, refuses to comment and maintains a meaningful silence.

In the final scene, Fleur leaves the Institute in the early morning, a suitcase in hand. Before passing through the gates, she turns one last time toward the building that shaped her career and her most cherished encounters. Her gaze is both sad and determined. She knows she will return, but not before regaining her inner strength. “Sometimes, you have to leave to come back stronger,” she murmurs, before walking away.

This departure marks the end of an era and raises a series of questions for the days to come. Who will take over the pastry shop? Will Teyssier seize this opportunity to install a new chef under his thumb? And above all, will Fleur keep her promise to return, or is this decision the beginning of a new chapter far from Calvières?

Filled with emotion, tension, and painful choices, the November 4th episode stands out as one of the most poignant of the season. Fleur, by deciding to follow her heart rather than the pressure, embodies a rare form of courage. But in a place where ambition often devours even the purest souls, her departure could well unleash a new series of storms. And at the Institute, as always, every decision comes at a price.
