In “Here It All Begins,” Carla has been feeling a bit tense lately. Her nerves are felt even in class, and Marc notices… Unfortunately, the conversation between them gets out of hand when the young woman becomes insolent.
Things aren’t getting any better for Carla in “Here It All Begins.” Lately, the young woman played by Aaricia Lemaire has been going through a difficult time. During the 2025 edition of the La Rochelle Fiction Festival, the actress spoke with AlloCiné to discuss the difficulties her character faces.
Carla in a bad situation
In her interview with us, she said: “Bérénice [Bérénice Tannenberg, editor’s note] is currently very busy with her signature dessert. Carla is therefore facing a kind of loneliness compared to the duo formed by Joséphine [Lucie Flory, editor’s note] and her. My character is also still affected by the departure of Souleymane [Dembo Camilo, editor’s note].”
“To fill this void, she gets her hands on Zoé [Maïa Bringue, editor’s note] to overcome this. Carla starts a diet with her, which will lead to a major topic: body dysmorphic disorder. We’re going to explore the theme of eating disorders,” Aaricia Lemaire explained.
“This concern will therefore impact all her close relationships at the Institute, particularly those with Rose [Vanessa Demouy, editor’s note] and Bérénice. Carla will be deeply shaken. Her connection to a cooking school will inevitably complicate things a little more,” says the actress from Here It All Begins.
Marc puts Carla in line
Carla gradually falls into a downward spiral in Here It All Begins, and her attitude becomes unmanageable. TF1 has just released an excerpt in which the main character responds curtly to Marc (Stéphane Blancafort) in the middle of class.
Visually upset by the fact that she can’t bear the Armand name, Carla is insolent with her teacher, who also happens to be the partner of her mother, Rose… Despite this special bond, Marc cannot tolerate the provocations of the student at the Auguste Armand Institute and is forced to put her in line.
In these images, the exchange between the characters becomes increasingly tense, and Carla ends up receiving a punishment: she has to clean all the kitchens! Carla is obviously not happy about this. Joséphine, Bérénice’s new best friend, witnesses the incident… No doubt, this incident will reach Bérénice’s ears!
