Tuesday, October 14 in Here it all begins…

Carla reveals Josephine’s secret to the world

At the shared apartment in the marshes, Carla suggests that Zoé take appetite suppressants as part of their diet. But Zoé finds this too dangerous for her health and points out that these products are banned in France.

At the Institute, Bérénice receives an offer to lead a masterclass in Marseille on her signature dessert. Since she has to leave the next day at the latest, she asks Clotilde for time to think about it. Indeed, she confesses to Joséphine that she doesn’t want to leave while still on bad terms with Carla.

For lunch, Rose has lunch with Marc and Jim. She regrets that Carla didn’t respond to her invitation to join them. During the meal, Marc announces that a publisher who saw their video contacted him to create a collection of their favorite family recipes. Rose is very excited.

Later, Carla runs into Bérénice in the park and apologizes for the way she reacted last Friday. She explains that she was on edge over her dessert because she’s started dieting. But she wants her girlfriend to give her a chance to make up for it and suggests they meet up in the evening to continue their conversation. Bérénice happily accepts. At the same time, Gaëtan gives Carla a package addressed to her. No one knows it contains the appetite suppressants she ordered online.

At the Atelier, during Chef Leroy’s class, Carla learns from Jim about their project to collect family recipes. It’s the fact that Rose is part of the project that really bothers her. But she keeps it all to herself, and it ends up exploding against Marc, towards whom the young woman is very provocative. The chef punishes her with a cleaning chore after the class.

Carla then suggests to Bérénice that they postpone their discussion until later, explaining the situation. Joséphine declares that she behaved inappropriately towards Chef Leroy. Carla retorts aloud that she has no moral lessons to receive from a drug addict, which does not escape the ears of Mattéo and the other students around. Joséphine then discovers that Bérénice had revealed her secret to her girlfriend and feels betrayed. As for Bérénice, she is angry with Carla for having said that out loud…

The next day, Carla apologizes profusely to Josephine, but she can’t help but blame her for provoking him. Berenice is deeply disappointed by her attitude.

The young woman returns home and packs her things to go to Marseille to lead her masterclass. She confides in Constance that she needs to take a step back. She assumes that the diet Carla has embarked on is the reason she is unbearable, but she is not ready to apologize for everything. With that, she sends her a message to inform her of her departure.

At the shared apartment in the marshes, Carla confesses to Zoé that she’s sad that Bérénice is leaving. Her friend suggests she have some chocolate as a comfort. But Carla categorically refuses. Instead, she shows her the box of appetite suppressants she bought, intending to use them despite Zoé’s repeated warnings.

They are then interrupted by Rose, who has come to check on her daughter. Carla expresses her feelings of rejection since she didn’t want her to take the name Armand. Rose then reveals that it was her adoptive parents who were stubborn about it. She then suggests that her daughter be included in the Leroy family recipe collection.

Meanwhile, in class, Marc notices that Josephine is being teased by some of her classmates, who now all know about her addiction. Josephine accuses Carla in particular of having spilled her secret to everyone.

When Rose returns with Carla to offer to include her in their family recipe book, Marc refuses because he doesn’t approve of what she did to Josephine. Rose is also shocked.

Back at her swamp flat, alone, Carla drowns her sorrows in food, wolfing it down until she feels disgusted with herself. She eventually turns to appetite suppressants and injects herself…

Ishmael deeply wounds Leonardo

Leonard confesses to Maya that he can’t forget Ishmael.

During class, the young man finds himself paired with Bianca during Chef Armand’s class. But ultimately, he realizes that he gets along very well with her.

After class, they run into Zoe in the park, and Bianca abruptly tells her off. Leonard questions her about it, and Bianca reveals that she suspects Zoe is trying to steal her boyfriend. She’s certain something happened during the championship at Castelmont, and she’s determined to find out what.

The next day, Leonard confesses to Zoe that Ismael did cheat on Bianca during the championship in Castelmont, but that it was with him. The young girl then suggests that he talk to Ismael directly so that Bianca will finally leave her alone.

Later, Leonardo and Ishmael find themselves locked in the wine cellar. Leonardo urges him to tell Bianca the truth about the kiss they shared. But Ishmael declares that kissing her disgusted him. At that moment, Maya opens the door for them.

She then confides in Leonard that she was the one who locked them up, hoping to make things better. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen. Leonard admits that Ishmael’s homophobic remarks hurt him a lot.

Tom discovers his English origins

At the Workshop, Julia invites Billie and Felix to join her brigade. Upset at not being chosen, Tom hopes to find comfort in the results of his DNA test. But he is greatly disappointed when he discovers he only has English blood, which he doesn’t find exotic enough. To poke a little fun at him, Milan encourages him to create a concept based on these origins.

Later, Tom presents Milan and Jasmine with the dishes he’s created based on his British cuisine concept. After tasting them, Milan convinces him he can take the kitsch even further. Tom listens to his advice and invites Enzo to taste his recipes. Against all odds, Enzo really likes them and advises him to keep working towards this goal so he can be the head of the Atelier in a month. Milan and Jasmine can’t believe it.

At the Atelier, Claire confesses to Olivia that she’s stressed about the tasting they’re planning at Résonance in front of several food critics. In fact, their second-in-command has just announced he’s sick. Olivia offers to stay with her partner to test their recipes, promising to find someone to replace her as instructor.

Chef Listrac asks Jasmine to replace her for her next two classes with the first years, stating that she has them working on a very simple recipe. Jasmine gladly accepts the opportunity.

But when she finds herself face to face with the students, the young woman realizes that the recipe they’re working on is very complex and highly technical. Since no one can do it, Jasmine suggests they stop there. She plans to make the recipe on her own, then recreate it as best she can with them during the next class.
