Coming soon in Here It All Begins on TF1, Gaspard (Maxym Anciaux) wants to leave the Institute in order to find a job to pay for his autistic brother Malo’s schooling. But Coline (Talina Boyaci) is against it and doesn’t want him to sacrifice himself. The young man feels he has no choice and has a meeting with a brasserie chef. In the meantime, he wants to enjoy these last moments at the Institute.

So, while preparing desserts with Maya for Alice’s festival, Gaspard appears cheerful. Éléonore (Armelle Deutsch) watches the scene from afar. Later, Gaspard meets the chef he’ll be working for. But the chef receives a phone call: it’s a professor from the Institute who’s hiring Gaspard. The chef refuses to hire him. The student is shocked.

Leaving the café, Gaspard runs into Maya (Alexandra Favalli). She refuses to let Gaspard leave the Institute and has therefore decided to call the chef, pretending to be a professor. The young man is furious and feels betrayed. Maya refuses to let him leave the Institute and asks him to stop with his pride. Gaspard and Maya end up sleeping together.

Then, Maya confesses that Éléonore asked her to ruin her interview. Gaspard is annoyed and feels she was manipulated by her mother. Meanwhile, Alice (Noémie Zeitoun) gives Clotilde (Elsa Lunghini) and Marc (Stéphane Blancafort) a taste of the desserts for her festival.

Here it all begins: Éléonore confesses the truth, Gaspard is ready to embezzle the money from Alice’s festival.

At the farm, Gaspard talks with Coline and explains that his mother isn’t answering her phone. Éléonore finally shows up… injured! Gaspard is worried and asks her what’s going on. She doesn’t want to go to the hospital and claims to have fallen.

Éléonore finally confesses the truth to Coline and Gaspard. She was beaten by men. In reality, she hasn’t been able to pay Malo’s school fees for three months. She borrowed money from unsavory men and can no longer pay them back. They threatened to attack Malo if she doesn’t pay back within a week: she owes the school fees and interest. Gaspard has only one solution: embezzle the money from Alice’s festival to save Malo.
