Clotilde reveals the truth to Hector
At the Institute, Rose explains to Clotilde and Joachim how she obtained proof that Hector was not Auguste Armand’s son. She then tries to find out why her sister led them to believe such a thing. Clotilde claims that’s what she thought she understood at the time, but Rose suspects she’s hiding something.
Later, at the Jourdain Hotel, Léonard overhears Clotilde and Andréa arguing about Hector. Andréa specifically forbids Clotilde from telling Rose the truth or involving her son in the whole affair.
Leonard arrives in the kitchen a little late. At the same time, Hector is experiencing phantom pain in his leg. Leonard discovers he has a prosthesis. Hector explains that he was hit by a drunk driver when he was 19, a driver they never found.
Leonard connects this to the argument he overheard between Andrea and Clotilde. He takes advantage of Hector’s momentary absence to repeat to Ismaël what he heard, convinced that it was Auguste Armand who had run him over back then. Bianca then joins the two boys, who inform her of their discovery. While her boyfriend wants to tell his uncle, she believes he doesn’t need to know and reminds him that the partnership is at stake.
Later, Teyssier gathered the students in the amphitheater to announce the upcoming inauguration of their hospitality training program. He introduced Andréa and Jeanne Jourdain, who apologized for Hector’s absence.
Meanwhile, Ismaël decides to reveal the truth to Hector. Hector goes straight to the principal’s office to confront Clotilde about it. In tears, Chief Armand confesses that she was the one driving the car that hit him…
At the farm, Gaëtan finds a chick that has fallen into a hole. Angèle and Coline explain that its mother probably rejected it because it was too fragile and she won’t want it anymore. Gaëtan then decides to take care of it.
At the Institute, Gaëtan presents his chick, which he’s carrying in a box, to Stanislas and Pénélope. He admits that he really enjoys taking care of an animal and that he’d like to adopt a cat if Alice agrees. Pénélope points out that adopting a pet is the step before having children. Gaëtan declares that he wants them. But he doesn’t know if his partner feels the same way.
Later, Alice confesses to Gaëtan that she’s very stressed because Teyssier has asked her to partner with him to organize the first semester exams. However, she doesn’t feel well enough and she hates change. Gaëtan wants to introduce her to his son to take her mind off things, but she’s not interested at all.
At the Coffee Shop, Gaëtan tells Stanislas and Angèle that he’s deduced Alice doesn’t want children because she doesn’t like change. The couple advises him, however, to talk to her directly.
Lionel and Solal find common ground
At the Lanneau household, the war continues to rage between Lionel and Fleur on one side, and Zoé and Solal on the other. Having reached their breaking point, they finally decide to have a frank discussion to resolve their cohabitation problems.
In a candid conversation, Lionel criticizes Solal for airing his relationship details so recently after his breakup with Emi. Solal apologizes and admits he hasn’t been a very good friend. He reminds him that he’s there if he needs to talk.
