Tuesday, October 21st in Here It All Begins…

At the shared house in the marshes, Carla is having breakfast with Bérénice and Gaëtan. In front of them, she pretends to eat her rusk, but she spits it back into her napkin as soon as their backs are turned.

Meanwhile, Coline tells Angèle about her argument with her cousin the previous day. She is determined not to attend her wedding to Bérénice. Rose, who joins them, learns of the situation.

In class, Carla is particularly irritable. Ferdinand rubs salt in the wound by showing her a photo of herself as a child and criticizing her. Carla leaves the class, while Jim grabs Ferdinand’s phone and throws it into a pot of boiling water.

In the park, Carla meets Jim during gym class. He confesses that he took revenge on Ferdinand out of guilt over the photo he regrets posting. Gaëtan then begins his class. Joséphine quickly notices that Carla isn’t feeling well. And indeed, she suddenly feels unwell and collapses. Gaëtan makes her go to the nurse’s office.

Josephine takes Carla to the location. Constance asks her to take a piece of string and create a loop representing her waist measurement. She takes another piece of string to measure Carla’s actual waist measurement so they can compare the two. The difference is striking and clearly highlights the body dysmorphic disorder the young girl suffers from. Despite this, she remains in denial.

Constance then decides to alert Bérénice and Rose to the state of the situation: she confesses that Carla is doing very badly, that she is starving herself and that she is using appetite suppressants in the form of injections.

Upon returning to their shared apartment in the marshes, Bérénice catches Carla giving herself an injection. While Carla tries to downplay the situation and reassure her, Bérénice issues an ultimatum: there will be no wedding until she gets better…

Anaïs takes a dislike to Anouk

For her first-year class, Chef Rivero trains students to prioritize presentation and visual appeal over taste. As an exercise, she asks them to make sauerkraut look sexy. While Milan fails, Ismaël receives praise from his teacher.

During her shift at Double A, Anaïs notices that all the first-year students in her brigade are more concerned with creating a visually appealing dressing than with meeting deadlines. Milan tells her that they have all been influenced by Chef Rivero.

Anaïs then decides to tell Clotilde, explaining that Chief Rivero is disrupting the organization of her brigade. Anouk admits her mistakes.

Gaspard and Maya are in a free relationship

Maya questions Gaspard about his date with Alison the previous day, asserting that he has every right to see her. Gaspard retorts, however, that he spent the evening alone. But he acknowledges that he is free to seek companionship elsewhere if he so desires.

Later, Leonard and Penelope come to make sure that Gaspard doesn’t intend to hurt Maya by being unfaithful. The young man explains that he has absolutely no desire to be in an open relationship, but he wants Maya to believe that because she is attracted to the idea.

At the end of the day, Gaspard and Maya meet at the farm. He pretends he’s gone back on a dating app to see her reaction, then admits he thinks she only likes the idea of ​​an open relationship. Maya confirms she really wants that, provided they’re honest with each other about it. Gaspard agrees. He then reveals to Maya that he spent the previous evening with a therapist. The young woman is very proud of him.
