Carla has been on cloud nine since Bérénice’s marriage proposal in “Ici tout commence” on TF1 this October 2025. But this happiness will be short-lived…

Coming soon to “Here It All Begins” on TF1, Carla (Aaricia Lemaire) is over the moon! She accepted Bérénice’s (Bérénice Tannenberg) marriage proposal and can’t stop looking at the ring she gave her. She’s thrilled and already wants to plan the ceremony, including preparing the gift list. After going through a difficult time, the young woman seems to have found happiness again with her sweetheart.

Later, Rose (Vanessa Demouy) congratulates her daughter on her engagement. She asks her mother to attend a wedding dress fitting that afternoon. Carla asks Zoé (Maïa Brigue) to organize her bachelorette party. Meanwhile, Jim (Loan Becmont) feels guilty about sending the photo of Carla as a teenage, overweight woman to the Institute’s group chat. He has left her several apology messages, but to no avail.

Meanwhile, Rose confesses to Marc (Stéphane Blancafort) that she’s afraid Carla is rushing things with the wedding. After a cooking class, Clotilde (Elsa Lunghini) confirms to Carla that she’ll be there for the dress fittings. She also decides to invite Coline, but Coline doesn’t want to go. She was hurt by her cousin’s comments about overweight women. Carla apologizes for being hurtful. Coline (Talina Boyaci) believes her sincerity and forgives her. She agrees to attend the fitting.

At the Leroy’s house, Rose, Clotilde, Coline, and Carla are gathered in the living room with the seamstress. Unsurprisingly, Carla is being difficult and doesn’t like the choices in the catalog. Rose and Clotilde had anticipated this reaction, so they decided to give her their mother’s wedding dress! Carla is touched and thinks it’s beautiful. Alterations are also possible.

But when Carla tries on the dress, disaster strikes! The seamstress can’t close it at the waist and doesn’t want to damage it. She suggests making it wider, but Carla flies into a rage. Rose explains that their mother was very slim, but it’s no use. Carla feels she has a cow-like figure, which greatly upsets Coline. She decides to end the fitting.

In the locker room, Mattéo (Louis Bouquet) tries to reassure Carla, but she’s mean to him. Bianca (Alexandra Ferreira) intervenes and attacks the student: “Fat and petty, that must have been hard to live with… It’s a good thing you lost the weight.” Carla is distraught and decides to put the Petrovac injector, the appetite suppressant that causes serious side effects, back in her bag.

Coline then confronts Carla to return her brush, which she had forgotten during the fittings. She takes the opportunity to tell her that she was hurt once again and believes Carla wasn’t sincere in her apologies before the fitting. Coline then makes a drastic decision: she won’t go to her wedding and wants nothing more to do with her. She wishes her happiness. She is convinced that for Carla, being overweight is the same as being ugly. Thus, Carla feels she is losing a member of her family when her cousin refuses to speak to her.
