Wednesday, October 29th in Here It All Begins…

At the Institute, Carla apologizes to Jim for kissing him unexpectedly the previous day. She explains her actions by emphasizing that he has become the most important person to her in recent days. Jim retorts that he isn’t the person she’s truly in love with. But Carla confesses that her memories and feelings for Bérénice haven’t returned. She fears they never will. Unable to bear disappointing people, she decides to return to Angers that very evening.

Meanwhile, Josephine tells Constance and Bérénice what she overheard the day before: the kiss between Jim and Carla. At the same time, Bérénice receives a message from Jim, who wants to talk to her. She meets him in the kitchen and they have a frank discussion. Jim explains that Carla is completely lost. He urges Bérénice to talk to him before she leaves Calvières.

Meanwhile, Carla overhears a conversation between Mattéo and Gary about her. The two boys express their sympathy for Bérénice, mentioning how unpleasant Carla was before she lost her amnesia. They also believe that what’s happening to her is simply karma.

Shaken by what she’s heard, Carla meets up with Rose and Clotilde to ask them about her personality before her amnesia. They answer her honestly. Carla is a little disappointed to find that she’s still just as unbearable as she was in high school. Rose points out, however, that the only person with whom she wasn’t afraid to be truly herself was none other than Bérénice.

This was enough to convince Carla to see her again. Bérénice invited her to their shared apartment in the marshes, where she had decorated the living room with garlands and hanging photos of all their memories. Bérénice declared that she was the best thing that had ever happened to her. She also played her the voicemails Carla had sent her, letting her know she was thinking of her. Overwhelmed with emotion, Carla finally went outside for some fresh air.

Bérénice joins her outside. Carla admits that she still remembers nothing. Not wanting to hurt her, she decides to stop trying. Bérénice respects her choice, affirming that she will always love her no matter what. Touched, Carla takes her in her arms. Suddenly, memories of their relationship resurface. Carla then asks Bérénice if she can kiss her, which she accepts. The kiss is a real turning point, and Carla’s memory returns!

Leonardo takes a step towards Ferdinand

Faced with Ferdinand’s insistence, Gaspard agrees to convince Léonard to team up with him for the pre-selections for the training hotel brigade. In exchange, he negotiates three evenings alone with Maya in their room at the boarding school.

Gaspard finds Zoé in the park and makes her feel guilty for only thinking about her ambitions instead of taking care of Carla, who is going through a difficult time. He succeeds in making her doubt herself. But Léonard convinces her that she can absolutely do both. Gaspard then tries to intervene to break them up. He suggests that Zoé team up with him and that Léonard team up with Ferdinand.

Leonard then realizes that his half-brother used Gaspard to achieve his goals. He confronts him directly. Ferdinand admits he handled it poorly when trying to make him understand that he wanted to spend time with him and get to know him. Leonard feels he still needs a little more time to work with him as a team. However, he agrees to have a drink with him sometime.

Wolf takes revenge on Thelma and Malik

While in the park with Joachim, Loup is approached by Malik, who gives him a stack of books to read before their next cooking session. Once Malik has left, Joachim advises Loup not to let him get away with it. He has an idea to make his friends understand that he’s not at their beck and call.

Later, Thelma goes to see Loup because she’s forgotten the recipe she was working on the day before. She’s counting on him to remind her. Loup agrees to do so at the end of the day. Then, he makes her believe that the entire Double A brigade has to dress up for Halloween week.

Malik and Thelma rush to find costumes and arrive late in the kitchen. Upon seeing their outfits, Anaïs scolds them and throws them out. The whole scene is filmed by the other students.

Malik and Thelma find Loup at the workshop and confront him for lying to them. The young man then explains why he sought revenge. Malik and Thelma acknowledge their wrongdoing, apologize, and promise never to use him for their own memory again.
