Coming soon to  “Here It All Begins”  on TF1, Carla ( Aaricia Lemaire ), determined to lose weight to fit into her wedding dress, hesitates to eat her rusk. But Gaëtan ( Terence Telle ) gives her a lecture on the importance of breakfast. After putting it in her mouth, she spits it back into her napkin as soon as Gaëtan and Bérénice leave the table.

Meanwhile, Coline ( Talina Boyaci ) confesses to her mother that she and Carla had a fight. She can no longer tolerate her cousin’s fat-shaming remarks. When Rose arrives, Angèle ( Ginnie Watson ) explains that their daughters are estranged. In the kitchen, tensions rise between Carla and Ferdinand ( Simon Dartois ). Ferdinand decides to dig out a photo of her as an overweight teenager. He uses this photo to create a sticker and sends it to the Institute’s group chat.

This is where it all begins: Carla falls during class, and Constance makes a radical decision.

Jim ( Loan Becmont ), responsible for publishing the photo, decides to redeem himself by putting Ferdinand’s phone in boiling water. Later, during gym class, Carla refuses to thank Jim for what he did. Then, she falls heavily during the exercise. Gaëtan wants Joséphine to accompany him to the nurse’s office. Carla refuses, but Joséphine ( Lucie Flory ) threatens to reveal to everyone that she’s taking Petrovac.

In the infirmary, Constance ( Sabine Perraud ) asks her to imagine her waistline. Teyssier’s wife realizes that Carla has body image issues. Visibly moved, she finally confesses to Constance and Josephine the hurtful nicknames her classmates gave her at school. As a result, Constance decides to take drastic action.

Faced with the gravity of the situation, Constance tells Bérénice and Rose that Carla suffers from body dysmorphic disorder and uses Petrovac. She couldn’t reveal this before due to medical confidentiality. Rose ( Vanessa Demouy ) discovers that her daughter is injecting herself to lose weight. A terrible truth for her. Constance asserts that Carla’s life is in danger.

Later, Bérénice ( Bérénice Tannenberg ) catches Carla ejecting herself from Petrovac, an appetite suppressant with dangerous side effects. Carla insists she’s doing it to feel beautiful on her wedding day. But Bérénice decides to cancel the wedding! It was supposed to make her feel better, but it’s making her sick. Bérénice vows that there will be no wedding until she’s better.
