Gaspard left the farm early so as not to run into his mother. Eléonore confesses to Coline that his father left when he learned Malo was autistic. She was penniless, and that was the starting point for the struggles. She admits she wasn’t a good mother.
Eléonore embezzled donations and defrauded companies by implicating Gaspard. Coline is shocked… Gaspard would have done anything to make Malo’s life easier.
Gaspard hasn’t forgiven Eléonore for using Malo in a bogus autism fundraiser. She says she regrets what she did.

She tells him that she would never have liked him if she had known it was him, he’s a student. Anouk tells him: “There’s no more awkwardness, we’ll forget all that.”
