This Wednesday, October 8, 2025 marks a historic date in the history of French television: The Mysteries of Love is over! To everyone’s surprise, and according to our exclusive information , TF1 has just announced to producer Jean-Luc Azoulay the end of his soap opera, The Mysteries of Love , after fourteen years of uninterrupted broadcasting. Broadcast every weekend on TMC, The Mysteries of Love features the cult group formed by Hélène Rollès (Hélène Girard), Patrick Puydebat (Nicolas Vernier), Sébastien Roch (Christian Roquier, alias Cricri d’amour for the older ones among us), Laly Meignan (Laly Polleï), Laure Guibert (Bénédicte Breton) and Cathy Andrieu (Cathy Da Silva). Not forgetting the young mother Elsa Esnoult (Fanny Greyson),

The third spin-off series from Hélène et les Garçons after Le Miracle de l’amour and The Holidays of Love , The Mysteries of Love appeared on our small screens in February 2011 and has to date almost 1000 episodes, no less! We do not yet know if TF1 will let the fiction go as far as this symbolic figure.
For the record, the series is followed by a community of loyal and very invested fans for whom this unexpected news risks being devastating. It’s worth noting that the series’ cancellation during the broadcast of the Women’s Euro final last summer had already sparked anger among die-hard fans (and a reaction from cult producer Jean-Luc Azoulay on social media).

This cancellation of the famous soap opera also risks being a huge blow for Jean-Luc Azoulay, who has been under contract with TF1 since spring 1987 through AB Production. However, if the French TV group has decided to stop the drama, will the JLA group (Jean-Luc Azoulay) turn to another channel, or try a second life streaming on a platform? A case to be continued.
