After receiving a lot of criticism regarding the education given to his son, Mathieu Ceschin wanted to remind everyone that he is indeed happy and fulfilled with his father. A post shared on Instagram that moved the followers of the former participant of  Love is in the meadow .

He is one of the most famous faces on the show  Love is in the Meadow . Mathieu Ceschin was revealed to the general public in the 15th season of the program orchestrated by Karine Le Marchand. Like the other farmers trying their luck,  Mathieu was looking for his soul mate . And love at first sight was immediate with his suitor Alexandre. With this unique relationship in mind, the couple decided to get married just a few months after meeting. A romance that melted Karine Le Marchand.

Mathieu Ceschin responds to his critics

Happiness only lasts for a while. Shortly after publishing their book, Mathieu and Alexandre separated. For his part,  the farmer continued his desire to become a father . A desire that pushed him to Colombia to initiate surrogacy, after meeting Amé, the woman who would carry his child. And since then, despite criticism from some internet users, the father passionately lives his role as a fulfilled dad. As usual, he shares his daily life via social media.

Since the beginning of summer, Mathieu Ceschin has decided to enjoy himself with his son Ezio. Together, they travel around France in a camper van. Here again, some Internet users have denounced the education he is giving his son.  “There is no greater wealth  than growing up surrounded by love,” wrote the father this Sunday, September 21, 2025 on Instagram. In the video, Internet users were able to see the father and his son bickering and cuddling.

“Every hug, every burst of laughter, every shared moment makes Ezio a fulfilled child. He is not a ‘poor kid’… He is a happy child ,” Mathieu Ceschin concluded in his post. The former contestant of  Love is in the Meadow knows it:  the criticism will not stop there . Fortunately, he can count on the loyal support of his subscribers, always there to defend him. Recently, he announced that he did not want to send his son to school anytime soon.  “He’s going to be the son of a homosexual, a single dad, can you imagine?  He’s going to take a beating . I don’t want that for my kid,” he defended himself on Sam Zirah’s show,  En toute privée .

In the meantime, fans of Love is in the Meadow are delighted. Mathieu Ceschin will indeed be back on M6 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Karine Le Marchand’s show. The presenter, who has given birth to numerous couples, has brought together in the Drôme region one hundred participants who have made their mark on the program’s history.
