Everything you need to know about episode 1288 of Here It All Begins on October 20, 2025, with all the  complete spoilers  for today’s storylines in Calvières.

Here everything starts early: Constance goes against the rules of medical confidentiality

Carla  is drunk early in the morning with  Gaëtan  reminding her that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. She hesitates to eat her toast, but ends up putting it in her mouth. But as soon as Gaëtan and  Bérénice  turn their backs, she discreetly spits it out into a napkin.

Coline  tells her mother that she can’t accept Carla’s fat-phobic comments.  Rose  arrives at the farm,  and Angèle  tells her that their daughters are angry.

Anouk  offers a communications course to second-year students;  Milan  would have preferred a more technical course.  Thelma  is a fan, because for her, she’s the queen of social media.

But things get out of hand when  Ferdinand humiliates Carla  by showing her a photo of her as a teenager: “You were cute with your little cheeks.” Worse still, he created a sticker of her image and posted it on the institute’s groups.  Jim discovers the post, grabs the phone, and throws it into boiling water.

Meanwhile,  Gaspard  tells  Maya  that he spent the evening alone, that he had to sort things out… but he doesn’t want to talk about it. Maya tells him that she doesn’t want any lies between them.

Anouk congratulates: “you have transformed a local dish into a little gem.” Milan is lost, while Ismaël assures and impresses .

Later,  Carla, Joséphine, and Jim  meet up in PE class with Gaëtan. Carla falls heavily… Gaëtan wants Joséphine to accompany him to the infirmary. She refuses, but  Joséphine threatens her: “If you refuse, I’ll tell everyone you’re taking Petrovac.”

Constance  realizes that Carla has a real problem with her image. Carla finally confides to Jo and Constance, her voice cracking, that she was nicknamed “the whale,” “the sow,” and “triple fat” when she was little at school.

Faced with the gravity of the situation,  Constance defies medical confidentiality  and reveals to  Rose and Bérénice  that  Carla suffers from body dysmorphic disorder and is dangerously starving herself . Rose, upset, whispers: “My daughter is injecting herself to lose weight?” Constance justifies her actions:  Carla’s life is in danger.

Here it all begins October 21, 2025: Gaspard takes charge

Gaspard  tells  Maya  he reinstalled the dating apps, thinking she was okay with an open relationship. But behind this decision,  a silent jealousy sets in .

They decide to talk honestly. “I don’t want to hurt you, to lose you,” Gaspard confides, while Maya wants to believe that honesty rhymes with trust. In a moment of confidence, she admits that she hates having her hand held.

Then, in a rare moment of emotion,  Gaspard admits that he has been seeing a shrink since his mother Eléonéore left . That’s why he wasn’t available the day before. He confides that he wants  to change and understand what gives meaning to his life . Maya, moved, tells him that she is proud of him.

Meanwhile,  Anouk and Anaïs  find themselves in Clotilde’s office:  Chef Revero’s advice  is slowing down the entire Double A team, who are focusing on the aesthetics of the dishes rather than their productivity. Clotilde tries to ease the tension.

But the real shock of the day comes when  Berenice catches Carla injecting herself with an appetite suppressant . Carla tries to justify it: it’s just for the dress. Berenice, panicked, begs her to stop. Carla replies that she just wants to feel beautiful…for the wedding.

So, with a heavy heart,  Berenice makes a radical decision  : “This marriage was supposed to do you good, but it’s doing the opposite. I’m sorry, but until you get better, there will be no marriage.” Carla, devastated, begs her: “Don’t do this…”
