Delphine Colas’s life had been turned upside down since her husband Olivier’s hospitalization. But sadness and pain have now given way to happiness, especially after this wonderful news announced by the mother, who was discovered on the show “Familles nombreuses : la vie en XXL” (Large Families: Life in XXL ).
Good news: Olivier Colas is finally back home , and for good this time. His wife, Delphine, confirmed the excellent news with a series of photos, including two of her posing with her husband. “ After almost two months in the hospital, Olivier is finally back with us. Thank you. We are savoring this feeling of rebirth, this simple yet immense blessing of being reunited as a family , ” she wrote in the caption of her Instagram post. “Autumn has always inspired me: the leaves fall, and with them everything we leave behind… to begin anew. We have filled up on beautiful moments and warmth to face the shorter days and welcome winter with gentleness .” This big announcement naturally prompted reactions from the followers of the mother of large families, who were quick to wish the patriarch of the Colas family a speedy recovery. “Happy to see you both again, get well soon Olivier”, “Get well soon Olivier and good luck for the future”, “What a beautiful couple! Happy to see a beautiful smile on your face again. Courage Olivier” , are some of the comments.

Olivier Colas spent several weeks in a rehabilitation center
This news comes just weeks after Selena’s mother announced to her followers that her husband would be returning home… but only for one night. “He was able to get permission, and even if it’s only for one night, I’m so moved and happy to finally have him back home. He’ll be going back to the rehabilitation center, but these few hours together will do us a world of good ,” she shared on her Instagram account. As a reminder, Olivier Colas had been placed in a rehabilitation center so he could relearn how to stand and walk. As usual, Delphine Colas took to social media to share her husband’s remarkable progress.
Olivier Colas was suffering from a bacterial infection caused by Streptococcus mitis.
The past few months have been particularly difficult for the Colas family. After being hospitalized for severe back pain, Olivier Colas learned he had infectious spondylodiscitis, caused by Streptococcus mitis. “It’s when a bacterium invades your bloodstream. This one is called Streptococcus mitis. The bacterium attached itself to the spinal column ,” his wife explained.
