Quickly eliminated from  Star Academy,  Lola Solia has mixed memories of her adventure, particularly because of Cécile Chaduteau’s comments during the devrief.

Viewers first saw her face on the set of  Quotidien,  a few weeks before the start of her season on  Star Academy . In 2023, Lola was part of season 11 of the TF1 talent show, won by Pierre Garnier. Unfortunately, despite this brilliant debut, the then 21-year-old artist was eliminated after the third prime. While she changed her look – notably going from brunette to platinum blonde – and was building her artistic career far from the injunctions of TF1, she confided in  TV Magazine . She notably returned to her strained relationship with Cécile Chaduteau, then a stage performance teacher. After the first prime, which she had nevertheless succeeded in, the one who now calls herself Lola Solia had received rather negative criticism from the teacher during the debriefing, accusing her in particular of a lack of authenticity.

“I never understood and I don’t think I ever will,”  Lola Solia says of that moment. “  What happened during that debriefing the day after the first prime was a moment of total injustice. Unfortunately, I believe that this sequence had a lot of influence on the rest of my adventure and contributed to the deterioration of my image with the public.”  For the artist, the explanation may be to be found in the ruthless world of show business.  “We weren’t total strangers since we both came from the same world, that of dance in Paris, where everyone knows each other. We knew each other by name and reputation, which is never a very healthy thing, and even less so when you suddenly find yourself in a teacher-student relationship when, ten days before, despite the age difference, we would have been colleagues,”  she told  TV Magazine.

If she had to do it again, Lola Solia would consider  Star Academy  differently.

These conflicts with Cécile Chaduteau, and the mold into which the  Star Academy production  tried to force her, lead Lola Solia to be frustrated with her experience on the show.  “I don’t regret doing it at all, but if I had to do it again, I would do it differently ,” says the actress, who has since released three singles. Not enough to overshadow her season’s winner, Pierre Garnier, but enough to make her feel at peace with herself.
