Increasingly heartbreaking goodbyes. After a full month spent within the walls of Star Academy, the students are finding it very difficult to say goodbye each week in Studio 217. And yet, this Friday, November 14th, on TF1, the academy students returned to the Dammarie-les-Lys castle with one less recruit. Earlier in the week, Michaël Goldman, the class director, had come to announce the names of the three nominees after very disappointing evaluations. Thus, Ema found herself in danger for the third time, alongside Théo and Léane, closer than ever. For this special “return of the alumni” episode, the nominees tried to save their place by performing hits by Calogero, Amel Bent, and Louane. Who managed to win over the public and the other students? Find out.

Star Academy: Who was eliminated this Friday?
After an emotionally charged prime-time show, Nikos Aliagas joined Karima Charni to announce the first stage of the eliminations: the public vote. After three hours of unbearable suspense, the public finally decided to save Théo’s place. The fate of Ema and Léane was therefore in the hands of their fellow students, seated on the bench. But, a dramatic turn of events… Just as the students were about to cast their votes for one of them, Ema made a request to Nikos: “Ema said to me, ‘Can I give her my place?’” She then declared: “I had two chances, I was saved twice. You deserve to stay, Léane.” Ema thus eliminated herself at the end of the show. “This is the very first time we have experienced this situation (…) I congratulate you,” announced Nikos, surprised by this turn of events.

Star Academy: Why wasn’t the live show broadcast on Saturday? 
This is the second consecutive week that Star Academy’s live shows have been moved from Saturday to Friday on TF1. The reason? This Saturday, November 15th, will feature a test match before the Six Nations Tournament, pitting France against Fiji at 9 pm. The live show will return to its regular Saturday slot starting November 22nd.
