On October 8, 2025, an announcement caused quite a stir among fans of “Les  Mystères de l’amour” (The Mysteries of Love) . The series was indeed ending on TMC, but its producer, Jean-Luc Azoulay, fully intended to launch a new project. Several of the show’s iconic actors reacted to this news, starting with Elsa Esnoult (Fanny), but also Hélène Rollès (Hélène) and Patrick Puydebat (Nicolas). The actor spoke to  Télé-Loisirs  about a possible continuation.

The Mysteries of Love  : Could Patrick Puydebat (Nicolas) participate in a sequel?

Patrick Puydebat is very confident that  “Les Mystères de l’Amour”  will have a sequel: “ For  Jean-Luc Azoulay , it’s just a temporary break. He’s already working on a sequel and, knowing him, he won’t give up until he finds a new broadcaster and adapts the series. ” But would the actor be willing to reprise his role as Nicolas? “ It’s not going to happen immediately, so I don’t know where I’ll be at that point. But if I have the time, obviously, I’ll jump at the chance because I want to continue the adventure with my friends. ”

The actor then spoke to  Télé-Loisirs  about his hopes for a sequel to Les  Mystères de l’amour . “ If there is a sequel, many things will be reworked. I hope we’ll break free from some of the constraints that have worn us down a bit: this group living like a kind of strange cult, the post-adolescent relationship to love when we’re all in our fifties. The series needs to be updated a bit. ”

The Mysteries of Love  : What to expect in the episode on Sunday, November 9, 2025

In the episode of “Les  Mystères de l’amour”  broadcast on TMC this Sunday, November 9, 2025, entitled  “Double Revelations ,” Jeanne tries to understand why Lisa was attacked by men. To conduct this investigation, she can count on Jean-Nico’s help. Hélène and her friends organize a big party in honor of Fanny and Christian’s upcoming baby. As for Stéphanie, she runs into Samantha, her replacement, at the police station.
