In November 2025, on  TF1’s “Here It All Begins,”  Penelope ( Laurence Facelina ) has a date with Baptiste, her ex. She continues to see him when he’s going through a rough patch. The third-year student eventually runs into him at the coffee shop and is completely taken aback by his announcement…

Baptiste announces to her that he’s opening a branch in New York and that he’ll soon be marrying Lisa, his fiancée. She’s expecting twins. He wanted to see Penelope to invite her to his wedding next year. Shocked by the news, Ninon’s sister decides to invent a life for herself. She pretends to be in a relationship with a Swede named “Lars,” a model and engineer. Gaëtan ( Terence Telle ) overhears the conversation.

It should be noted that the role of Baptiste is played by  Sébastien Rollin . Previously, the character was played by  Maximilien Fussen . He was unavailable during the filming dates, as he was busy with another role that took up  “a lot of his time,”  as he explained on Instagram.

Two days later, Penelope is completely depressed. Gaëtan tries to cheer her up, but it’s going to be a tough task. She’s broke, single, unemployed, and her friends are half her age. Then, Penelope goes to the Double A, but arrives late. Stanislas ( Hubert Roulleau ) decides to punish her: she’s put on cleaning duty alongside Gary. He was caught playing on his phone during his shift.

This is where it all begins: Gary sleeps with Penelope before an affair with… Ninon?

Penelope can’t believe it: being late even once is punished the same way as someone who played on their phone. She’s very annoyed and isn’t kind to Gary ( Louis Ould-Yaou ). Later, Gaëtan tries to cheer her up again at the coffee shop.

Then Gary arrives, and Penelope apologizes. She explains that she’s going through an existential crisis and thinks she regrets her life choices. But Gary disagrees and finds the right words to cheer her up. He’s generous with compliments. After a few drinks, Penelope ends up in Gary’s bed! They slept together, but she seems to have regrets. When she learns that he’s 19 and not 23, Penelope, who is 37, seems ashamed…

Coming soon, starting the week of November 24, 2025, the main storyline will focus on Penelope. She will find herself leading a brigade alongside her sister, Ninon, and Penelope. But tensions will arise between the two sisters. It’s revealed that Gary will be playing both sides, and Ninon ( Elsa Bois ) will find herself in his room. Everything suggests that Gary will have had an affair with Ninon after Penelope. A love triangle that no one saw coming…
