Pierre and Jeanne arrested by the police in The Mysteries of Love
Jeanne ( Isabelle Bouysse ) clarifies that it’s a gendarmerie motorcyclist. He signals for Pierre to stop. Pierre doesn’t understand, as they haven’t done anything. But he stops and parks behind the gendarme’s motorcycle. The young gendarme asks Pierre for the vehicle’s registration papers. Jeanne gives them to him, but they are under a gun. Fortunately, the gendarme doesn’t notice.
Pierre asks if they’ve committed an offense. The police officer points out that their rear license plate is illegible. The couple is surprised, and Jeanne decides to go and check. Sure enough, there’s dirt on the rear plate. Pierre defends himself by saying it’s the same plate as the front one. He then asks for Pierre’s license. Jeanne explains that it’s her vehicle, but the officer says he needs the driver’s license.
Pierre meets his son in The Mysteries of Love
Looking at Pierre’s driver’s license, the police officer is shocked! He asks him if he was indeed born in Montargis. Pierre confirms and asks why. The officer then drops a bombshell: “I think I’m your son!” The couple is stunned. Later, Pierre, Jeanne, and the police officer find themselves in a field, near the vehicle and the road.
The police officer asks Pierre if he knows a woman named Blanche. Pierre explains that she was a friend from high school. He admits that they dated for two or three years after graduation. The officer explains that they were young and asks Pierre if he went to Paris for his studies. Pierre confirms this. The officer adds that he hasn’t been in touch since.
The mysteries of love: Jeanne has a stepson
Pierre admits that at the time, he was a young, busy student. The police officer understands, but that means his mother couldn’t have told him she was expecting a baby. The officer, whose name is Tobias, confirms that he was the baby in question and admits that his mother often talked about his father. She only ever spoke highly of him.
Pierre downplays it, but Jeanne confirms it, as well as the fact that he’s a womanizer. Talking with Jeanne, the policeman realizes she’s his stepmother. She takes the news well. The policeman is delighted.
The mysteries of love can be seen every Sunday from 8 p.m. on TMC.
