In the fifth episode of season 36 of Les  Mystères de l’amour  , broadcast on Sunday, February 23, 2025 on TMC, Nicolas ( Patrick Puydebat ) is on the phone with Nicky ( Benjamin Cotte ). After being held hostage, he was rescued thanks to his father. Hélène is delighted that he’s alright. However, the couple has a slight problem.

Indeed, the boiler is no longer working. Hélène ( Hélène Rollès ) is therefore dressed warmly. Ingrid arrives next, and Hélène calls out to her. They are both freezing. During their conversation, Hélène asks about Zoé. Ingrid explains that Zoé’s grades aren’t good at school. Hélène is having the same problem with Niels.

Hélène thinks it’s because of the game console they got for Christmas. She thinks they should limit their screen time. Ingrid ( Carole Dechantre ) agrees with Hélène and thinks one hour a day is fine. Hélène adds that they won’t be allowed to use the console anymore if they don’t get good grades. The two mothers leave to tell them the news.

So, Hélène and Ingrid join forces to raise the children, with a formidable plan to reduce their screen time. Later, at breakfast, Ingrid arrives and tells Nicolas that the children are ready. Laly, well aware that Ingrid wants to win Nicolas back, suggests they go with Hélène to the garage.

Ingrid claims it’s impossible, explaining that it’s a five-seater, not a six-seater. But Laly ( Laly Meignan ) wants to get rid of Ingrid and says she can stay while they take the children. Ingrid offers to take her car with Nicolas and Zoé and suggests that Hélène and Laly go with them.

Laly explains that if Hélène comes with them, Niels has his mom and dad to himself. Jimmy ( Tom Schacht ) intervenes and offers to give Laly a ride. Laly agrees. Thus, her plan succeeds. Ingrid will be in the car with Nicolas, Hélène, and the children.
