Etienne and Christian have a real discussion in the continuation of season 36 of the series The Mysteries of Love . This Sunday, May 18, 2025, on TM, Fanny’s partner tries to clear up some doubts.
In the continuation of season 36 of the series “Les Mystères de l’Amour” (The Mysteries of Love) , Ingrid wanted to use a love potion to win Nicolas’s heart. However, she wanted to test it, just like Tania, on Etienne to see the effect of this enchanting potion.
While the latter has made a pact with Audrey in order to be able to put pressure on Hélène’s partner, Christian has a serious discussion with Etienne in the episode of Sunday May 18, 2025 in the early evening on the TMC channel.
The mysteries of love : Etienne and his wanderlust
Etienne ( David Proux ) finally reveals to Christian that he’s having an affair with Tania and Ingrid, before nearly losing his temper, adding that he deeply loves Mégane ( Claire Thomas ), but is convinced she’s after his money. Fanny’s partner then suggests he try cutting off access to his credit card to get some real answers, but he’s not sure it will work.
While Etienne claims to be in love with Mégane, what follows will dispel some doubts in Christian’s ( Sébastien Roch ) mind. The two men arrive at the garage before Nicolas and Hélène ( Hélène Rollès ), as well as Jimmy. Etienne says it brings back memories of Joanna, who attended Christian and Fanny’s wedding a few months ago. When Christian teases him about the revelation he made a few minutes earlier, Etienne asks him a surprising question: ” Have you never wanted a real woman ?” he says to his friend.

Christian asserts that Fanny ( Elsa Esnoult ) is a real woman, despite their age difference. Etienne supports his friend’s statement, emphasizing that the singer is more mature than Mégane. Christian then asks him again whether he truly loves Mégane or not. This question, which sounds like an ultimatum, is quickly answered: ” Of course I love her, otherwise I wouldn’t have stayed with her ,” he repeats.
He qualifies this by saying that Tania and Ingrid are something else entirely: ” I feel so small next to them ,” he says. He thinks, however, that he’s just a toy to them. While Ingrid ( Carole Dechantre ) is the victim of a terrifying obsession on Etienne’s part, Christian makes a revelation to her, saying that Nicolas ( Patrick Puydebat ) was jealous of Etienne, who was close to Ingrid. This revelation shocks Etienne, who doesn’t know what to say. Will this change everything?
