In the next episode of  Farmer Wants a Wife 2025 , Mathieu grants each of his suitors a one-on-one date. But one of them will move a little too fast for the farmer’s liking. Spoiler alert!

Mathieu is one of the farmers looking for love on M6’s 20th season of ”  L’amour est dans le pré” (Love is in the Meadow) . This 28-year-old sheep farmer has never been in love but says he’s ready to meet the woman who will change his life. During the speed dating sessions in Paris, he felt he could find love with Marie or Clémence, whom he invited to his farm in Aveyron. While the young man seemed to have a crush on Marie, he decided to take the time to get to know his two suitors during a one-on-one meeting, which will be featured in the next episode.

In the 11th episode, broadcast on Monday, November 3rd on M6 but already available on the M6+ streaming platform, Mathieu is going to be unsettled by the declarations of one of his suitors.  Warning: the rest of this article contains spoilers  !  He first chooses to have a conversation with Marie, who had touched him during the speed dating sessions and upon her arrival at the farm with her original gift. She initially apologizes for being reserved, but Mathieu reassures her, explaining that it’s not a problem. “If I’m hiding my emotions, it’s because they’re incredibly strong. I really feel good with you and I’d love to touch you, to be close to you…” she explains, taking his hand and revealing that she’s tactile.  “When she pulls me close, I don’t really know how to react.  She’s just going for it… She’s taking the initiative, and that completely surprised me ,” reacts Mathieu, a total novice when it comes to love. It was then that the pair discussed the distance between them, from Switzerland to Aveyron.  “Starting in January, I’m willing to take a sabbatical ,” replied Marie, listing all the times she could come to Mathieu’s.  “Marie is planning so far ahead, both short and long term, it scared me a little at first.  She’s already planning , ‘In a year I’ll be here, I’ve got my suitcases…’ ​​I’m looking for a woman to live with me, but we shouldn’t rush things ,” the farmer reflected, flustered, to the camera.

“I don’t want to wait”  : A contestant vying for Mathieu’s affections ( Love is in the Meadow 2025 ) already envisions herself with children

And Mathieu’s surprises weren’t over yet, because a few seconds later, Marie envisioned their future even further.  ” I’ve wanted children since I was 16 , you can do the math, I’ve been waiting for the right person for a long time and I think I’ve found her. I don’t want to wait any longer ,” she whispered knowingly to the farmer.

“It’s stressing me out a bit ,” the Occitan man reacted to the camera. This situation puts Mathieu in an awkward position, especially since he hasn’t yet made his choice between his two suitors and he also has to spend some time alone with Clémence.
