In the eighteenth episode of season 35 of The  Mysteries of Love  , broadcast on Sunday, December 8, 2024 on TMC, Pierre ( Frank Delay ) prepared breakfast for Jeanne. She finds this gesture very romantic. Pierre explains that he realized yesterday how lucky he is to have met her. This raises questions for Jeanne.

Pierre recalls yesterday afternoon when he stayed with Tobias’s ( Romeo Rocheteau ) two girlfriends. He explains that it was  “horrible .” Jeanne points out that they seemed interested, but Pierre points out that it wasn’t mutual. When Jeanne left with Tobias, things were more complicated. He admits that he is no longer a seducer and that only Jeanne interests him. The main person concerned is flattered.

The nightmare continues for Pierre in The Mysteries of Love

Pierre makes a new declaration of love, which surprises Jeanne ( Isabelle Bouysse ). Pierre admits that he wanted to express his feelings to her. Jeanne is delighted and asks her husband to start exercising before breakfast. He agrees, but wants a cuddle afterward as well. Jeanne suggests a hundred push-ups to start and a jog.

Later, Jeanne and Pierre are in the woods for their jogging session. But, the bad luck continues for Pierre! He is accosted by a woman. Jeanne is disappointed that the situation is starting again. He decides to quicken his pace, but the woman shouts after him:  “Wait for me, it’s Mathilde .” Jeanne turns around and notices that they are being chased by the woman.

Jeanne, who has recently come to terms with Tobias’s feelings, points out to Pierre that she is catching up with them. Pierre explains that Mathilde is a former athlete, a French junior champion. Jeanne believes they shouldn’t fight and stops. Pierre is then confronted by Mathilde. He apologizes for not turning around because he was running. Mathilde is happy to see him again; she’s been looking for him everywhere.

Pierre explains that he’s been moving around a lot lately. Mathilde compliments him on his physique. Pierre returns the compliment, which annoys Jeanne. She finally intervenes and introduces herself, declaring that she is his partner. Mathilde says,  “You’ve finally managed to find someone .” She is happy for him and introduces herself to Jeanne.

The Mysteries of Love: Jeanne makes a radical decision, the end of her relationship with Pierre?

Mathilde ( Amélie Bitoun ) admits that she is happy for Pierre and says that he kept courting her. She details everything he did and admits that she even felt sorry for him, because she didn’t know what to do anymore. Mathilde ends up saying:  “He didn’t want to understand that I didn’t like boys .” Jeanne seems surprised by this statement. Then, Mathilde thanks for the basket of red roses she gave her for her birthday.

Jeanne asks him the date of his birthday. Mathilde explains that it was a month ago. She adds that there was a very nice letter in that basket, in which he indicated that he was very happy to have met such an extraordinary woman and that he wasn’t seeing any other woman. Mathilde specifies that he wrote two pages and adds that he was thanking heaven for this meeting, a compliment similar to the one he told Jeanne at breakfast.

Mathilde admits she was touched, but she hasn’t changed her mind. She ends up giving Jeanne her number in case she wants to leave him. Jeanne agrees to take her number. Later, while jogging, Jeanne is still furious. Pierre insists he sent her the flowers out of habit. But Jeanne thinks he’s not being logical. Pierre tells his wife that she’s the only one in his life. Jeanne doesn’t want to get angry. She’s going to pack her bags and leave.
