In the seventeenth episode of season 35 of The  Mysteries of Love  , broadcast on Sunday, December 1, 2024 on TMC, Hélène ( Hélène Rollès ) tells Laly the latest information about her love life. Their conversation is interrupted by a message from Nicolas ( Patrick Puydebat ) asking her to pick up the children.

Laly once again warns Hélène about Ingrid ( Carole Dechantre ). As they set off, Raphaël is in the hallway, surprised to see the two women leave. He seems disappointed by Laly’s departure. Before leaving, she explains that Éric is going to write a large check for the foundation. After Raphaël ( Gregory Defleur ) leaves , Hélène accuses Laly of being a brat.

Laly lost between Raphaël and Van Goolens in The Mysteries of Love

As a reminder, Laly ( Laly Meignan ) is at the heart of a romantic dilemma between Éric Van Goolens ( Steve Lhommel ) and Raphaël. She puts them in competition, but cannot make a choice. Laly admits that she is lost and therefore prefers to have fun. Hélène does not appreciate the fact that she plays with Raphaël. Later, the two women are in front of the school.

Laly keeps telling Hélène that it’s not normal for Ingrid to spend her days with Nicolas. But Hélène thinks it’s normal, because it’s Christmas and they’re going to buy presents together. Unconvinced, Laly admits that she must be imagining things. Then, while they’re waiting for the children, Laly notices a man she finds handsome.

Laly falls under the spell of a new character in The Mysteries of Love

Hélène calls Laly to order by pointing out that she already has Éric and Raphaël. But since she’s not in love, she can’t make up her mind. Hélène concludes that if he’s there, it’s because he has children and is married. Laly believes he could be divorced or widowed. The person in question smiles at her. Laly ends up getting annoyed and confesses to Hélène that she’s tired of being alone.

Since she can’t decide between Van Goolens and Raphaël, she decides a third would be good. Hélène thinks she can do what she wants since she’s single. Laly continues to look at the father. She finally musters up her courage and decides to go talk to him. She pretends her phone battery is dead so he can tell her the time. The person tells her the time and she starts talking.

He’s waiting for his goddaughter because they have to go Christmas shopping with her. He points out that he doesn’t have any children. Laly continues to make conversation and explains that she came to pick up her friend’s children. She explains that she has an older child who now lives in Latin America. The person dreams of going there. Laly advises him to go to Brazil and offers him some information. They arrange to meet the next day at a cafe near the school. They exchange numbers. Laly discovers that his name is Vincent.
