In the eighth episode of season 36 of The Mysteries of Love , broadcast on Sunday, March 16, 2025 on TMC, Aurélie ( Angèle Vivier ) speaks via text message with Edwin. The latter is a customer of the watersport club for whom she has a crush. They send each other some pretty explicit messages.
In the previous episode, Victor caught Aurélie kissing Edwin. Victor brings Aurélie breakfast. She didn’t hide the fact that she was talking to Edwin but simply said that he sent her some very nice messages. Then, Victor decides to put polish on Aurélie’s feet to make some adjustments. He takes great care of her despite what she did.
Victor is not jealous of Edwin in The Mysteries of Love
Aurélie receives another message from Edwin. He told her she was the most beautiful woman in the world. Victor is happy and thinks Edwin is really great. Then, after applying his nail polish, Victor thinks Edwin will fall even more for her if he sees Aurélie’s feet. She asks her future husband if he isn’t jealous of Edwin.
Victor ( Benoît Dubois ) explains that he didn’t, then admits that he felt something when he saw Aurélie kiss Edwin. He admits that it made him happy because she seemed happy. He explains that he can’t be jealous of someone who thinks the same thing as him, that Aurélie is the most beautiful woman in the world. For him, that would be like being jealous of himself.

Aurélie explains that generally when you love a girl, you don’t like other guys hanging around her. But Victor doesn’t agree and gives his point of view. Aurélie asks him if he isn’t afraid that she’ll leave him for Edwin. Victor explains that he trusts her and then brings up Greg ( Grégory Cyr ).
It’s a huge twist orchestrated by Jean-Luc Azoulay! From the beginning, Victor was perfectly aware of Aurélie and Greg’s relationship. He deliberately took his time getting something to give them time. Aurélie is shocked, but Victor insists that he can’t be jealous of someone who feels the same way he does.
