In the fourteenth episode of The Mysteries of Love , broadcast this Sunday, April 27, 2025 on TMC, after recovering Peter’s hard drive, Nicolas ( Patrick Puydebat ) accepted Ingrid’s invitation to celebrate the success of their mission. But Tania ( Sandrine Sengier ) put drugs in their drink. Ingrid and Nicolas then kissed.
Nicolas wakes up at Ingrid’s, but it’s Émilie, his evangelist double, who’s taking care of him. She gives him herbal tea, as it helps fight sexual urges. Nicolas apologizes for his behavior. Just as he was about to kiss Ingrid, she switched to Émilie. Émilie admits she was surprised because Nicolas jumped on her.
The Mysteries of Love: Nicolas, struck by Émilie, discovers the terrible truth
Nicolas doesn’t understand and admits that he was overcome by an irresistible urge to “copulate .” He doesn’t know he was drugged, just like Emilie. The latter apologizes for slapping him, but Nicolas assures him that she did the right thing. But Emilie reminds him that violence is not good and adds that she kicked him in the balls right after. He calmed down after that.
Émilie gives Nicolas more herbal tea. He still doesn’t understand what happened. But Émilie tells him the truth: Ingrid made him drink a love potion. Nicolas remembers that she did that to him a few years ago. Émilie points out that it was the devil who made her do it. Then, Ingrid regains control and prepares to make love to Nicolas, but he calls Émilie back. The latter regains control.

While Nicolas gets dressed, Émilie begins to pray and sings a hymn. Later, Ingrid ( Carole Dechantre ) takes over to talk with Nicolas. She apologizes for her behavior and acknowledges that she should never have drugged him with that aphrodisiac. Nicolas admits that he was disappointed when he learned this from Émilie.
Ingrid explains that it was a crazy move and that it wasn’t the right way to win her back. Nicolas reminds Ingrid that he can’t give her what he wants because he’s not free. Ingrid realizes this, but wants to remain hopeful. He advises her to find someone free, but she only has him in her head. Émilie regains control and goes to pray.
