Morgane is panicking about her sister Laura, she thinks she should file a complaint about the man who attacked her.
Morgane comes to see Patrick about Laura’s altercation, where there were death threats. It seems he’s a marginal. Patrick agrees to let Morgane lead the investigation, she put pressure on him regarding what happened in Samuel’s death.Morgane is worried sick about Laura
Ariane comes to see Ophélie at the Vavins’ to find out more, because Hugo is on the loose with half a million euros. Sylvie defends Ophélie, reminding her that she’s a victim.
But Ophélie hits Ariane hard and reveals that it was Éric Norman who planted the drugs in Victor Vavin’s car, at Vanessa Kepler’s request.
Louis gives Jennifer lessons in lockpicking, because Barbara never taught him. Jennifer jumps in with Louis’s advice. The complicity is palpable. He tells her she needs to stop talking and focus. The miracle happens—or not: Jennifer jams the lock… and Louis has an appointment with the judge to have his bracelet removed.
Jennifer was afraid he’d miss his super important appointment, but Louis saved the day in the nick of time.

Baptiste, who overhears the conversation at the Pavillon des Fleurs, is worried. Together, they talk about mystical legends and bad omens.
Baptiste shows her a lucky charm that’s supposed to protect her from the evil spells he casts on him. Baptiste gives it to her: whether she believes it or not, “it can’t hurt her.” He adds that she can return it to him after All Saints’ Day…
Meanwhile, Ariane confides in Patrick that Vavin’s drugs came from Jean-Paul’s informant. She’s protecting Éric.
Patrick asks Ariane why she re-interviewed Ophélie Kepler. Ariane thinks the kidnapping was a setup and that Ophélie is Hugo’s accomplice.
Ariane formulates another chilling hypothesis: Hugo hasn’t reappeared because he’s dead… and it was Ophélie who killed him.
She doesn’t “feel” this girl and wants to keep an eye on her, convinced that she’ll end up making a big mistake.
